OVERLOAD: Overload Warning - Visit https://s.dji.com/DJI-Power for details on warnings and troubleshooting.

Powering On/Off

Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for at least two seconds. The display will turn on automatically.

Display On/Off: With the power station on, press the power button once.

Charging External Devices

AC Output

The power station has two AC output ports. Connect an external device to an AC output port and press the AC output button to supply AC power.

The power station features automatic AC output shutoff and energy-saving auto-shutoff.

When charging with different AC frequencies, the power station automatically adjusts to the input frequency. To manually switch the AC output frequency, unplug the power station from the AC outlet, then press and hold the AC output button for 10 seconds.

Internal electrical components have a waterproof coating. A slight odor may be noticeable when using high power, which will dissipate with normal use.

USB Output

The power station has two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports. Connect external devices to the USB-A or USB-C ports for power.

Fast Charging DJI Drone Batteries

DJI Power 1000 has an SDC port and an SDC Lite port; DJI Power 500 has an SDC Lite port. The power station can fast charge compatible DJI drone batteries using an SDC fast charging cable (sold separately).

Connect to compatible drone batteries such as DJI Matrice 30 series, DJI Air 3, DJI Mavic 3 series, and DJI Inspire 3.

Other SDC Output

The power station can be used with other SDC cables (sold separately) to charge various devices via the SDC/SDC Lite port.

Charging the Power Station

AC Charging

The power station supports Quick Charge and Standard Charge modes for AC input.

Steps for AC Charging (DJI Power 1000 example):

  1. Open the port cover and connect the DJI Power 1000 to an AC power outlet using the included AC power cable.
  2. Use the charging mode switch to select Quick Charge mode (1200W for Power 1000, 540W for Power 500) or Standard Charge mode (600W for Power 1000, 270W for Power 500).

Notes:

Solar Charging

The power station can be charged using solar panels via the DJI Power (MPPT) solar panel adapter or the DJI Power SDC car charger cable for solar charging. Both accessories are sold separately.

Steps for Solar Charging (DJI Power 1000 example):

  1. Unfold the solar panel, prop it up, and orient it towards the sun. Adjust the angle of the support. It is recommended that the solar panel surface be perpendicular to the sunlight. Ensure there are no obstructions between the solar panel and the sun.
  2. Connect the solar panel to the solar panel adapter module using the XT60 cable to begin charging.

Notes:

Car Charging

The DJI Power car charging output to the SDC adapter can be used to connect the car charging port to the power station's SDC port (or SDC Lite port) for car charging.

Ensure the car charger's input voltage is between 12-30V and the maximum input current is below 8A. Otherwise, it may cause abnormal operation or damage to the power station.

Ensure the adapter is securely connected to the car charging port and the car engine is running before charging.

USB-C Charging

DJI Power 500 can be charged via USB Power Delivery through the USB-C port with a maximum charging power of 100W. It also supports simultaneous power input from multiple sources, where two USB-C ports can be used for charging with a maximum power of 200W.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

The power station supports Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Connect the power station to an AC outlet and then connect your external device, such as a computer, to it. Press the AC button once, and the AC output will power both the power station and the connected device. The UPS is enabled by default.

In case of sudden power loss, the power station can automatically switch to battery power within 20ms, ensuring the connected device operates normally.

Important Notes:

Accessories for DJI Power 1000

1/4" Threaded Hole

The DJI Power 1000 charging station has two 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) threaded holes, allowing users to attach the DJI Power (MPPT) solar panel adapter module to the charging station as follows:

Devices with 6.35 mm (1/4 inch) screws can also be attached to the charging station.

Protective Storage Bag

The DJI Power 1000 can be used with a protective storage bag. The bag can protect the power station from scratches and dust, and ensure more convenient carrying.

The open front of the bag is for connecting external devices to the power station, and the rear of the bag is for storing cables and accessories.

When using the DJI Power 1000 with the protective storage bag, be sure to unzip both sides of the bag to avoid blocking the vents, which could cause overheating.
