Important Notes
Installation Guide Notes:
- Please read this Installation Guide carefully. Contact Customer Care for any installation queries.
- Professional installation is recommended to prevent potential service charges due to incorrect installation.
- Four alkaline AA batteries (not included) are required. Non-alkaline and rechargeable batteries are "NOT RECOMMENDED".
- Do not remove batteries while the lock is operating.
User Manual Notes:
- Replace batteries immediately when the lock prompts "The battery is dead."
- Use the correct method for fingerprint registration and identification. The company is not liable for recognition issues from incorrect usage.
- Note: The fingerprint algorithm allows re-registration; one-time registration is sufficient for daily use. More registrations improve accuracy.
What's in the Box
The package includes the following components:
- Part A: Outdoor unit of the smart lock, featuring a keypad and fingerprint sensor.
- Part B: Indoor unit of the smart lock.
- Sticky Board: Mounting plates for securing the lock components to the door.
- Screws: Illustrations of various screws.
- Cards: Access cards for authentication.

Installation Procedure
1. Door Properties
A. Measure the glass door thickness: Ensure the door thickness is between 10 to 12 mm.
B. Check the door opening direction: This smart lock is suitable for both left and right opening doors.

2. Installation of the Sticky Board
Peel the sticker off the Sticky Board A and stick it at an appropriate height on the door. Repeat for Sticky Board B, ensuring it is at the same height as Sticky Board A.

3. Installation of Part A (Outdoor Unit)
- Remove screws from Part A.
- Disconnect the cable.
- Insert the Sticky Board into the fixed mount.
- Install the fixed mount and outdoor unit with 5 screws onto the Sticky Board.
- Connect the cable to the indoor unit and tighten the screws.

4. Installation of Part B (Indoor Unit)
- Remove screws from Part B to separate the Outdoor Unit and Indoor Unit.
- Insert the Sticky Board B into Part B.
- Install and tighten the Part B Outdoor Unit with 5 screws.
- Install Part B Indoor Unit back.

5. Installation of the Batteries
Remove the Battery Cover, insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, and re-install the Battery Cover.

Product Overview
The smart lock consists of several key components:
- OLED Screen: Displays information and status.
- Keypad & Card Detection Area: For PIN code entry and card swiping.
- Confirm/Doorbell Button: Used for confirmation and as a doorbell.
- Fingerprint Sensor: For biometric authentication.
- Speaker: Provides audio feedback.
- Knob: For manual door operation.
- Reset Button: Used to reset the lock to factory settings.
- Battery Compartments: Houses the batteries.
- Emergence Power Interface: For external power supply in case of low battery.
- Battery Cover: Covers the battery compartment.

Definitions
- Initialization: Resets all registered user data to factory settings. Wi-Fi disconnects, and the default administrator password (0123456789) becomes valid.
- User Roles: Two roles exist: Administrator (access menu, open door) and User (only open door).
- Random Password: Users can add random digits before or after their password for enhanced security. The maximum total digits (password + random digits) is 30.
- Passage Mode: Keeps the door unlocked, suitable for areas with no access restrictions.
- Low Battery Warning: The lock will prompt "The battery is dead" when battery power is low. Insufficient power may affect operation.
- Double Verification Mode: Requires two forms of authentication (e.g., password + card, password + fingerprint) to unlock.
How to Use
Menu Operation Guide on Keypad
The keypad is used for navigation and input. Keys are labeled with numbers and corresponding letters (e.g., 2 ABC, 3 DEF). Directional indicators (Up, Down, Left, Right) and function keys (* Backspace, # Confirm/Doorbell) are also shown.

Instructions:
- Reset the Lock: Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds until the audio prompt "Initializing, Succeed" is heard.
- Activate the Lock: Touch the keypad with your hand or fingers.
- Register the First Administrator:
- Activate the lock.
- Press '0' and '#' keys, then enter the default administrator password "0123456789" to access the menu.
- On the "Users" screen, press '#' then '8' to select administrator registration for fingerprint or password.
Note: After the first administrator is registered, the default password (0987654321) becomes invalid.
- Programming Features through Menu Mode:
- Activate the lock.
- Press '0' and '#' keys to access the menu.
- Verify administrator identity via fingerprint or password, then press '#' to confirm.
- Enter the digit corresponding to the desired function, following the audio guide.
- Pair the Lock with APP:
- Search for the "ZSmart" App in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download it.
- Open the "ZSmart" App and log in or create an account using your phone number or Email ID.
- On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi permissions.
- Open the app, tap the '+' button, and select "Add Device".
- When the device appears, tap "Add" and follow on-screen instructions to pair.
- You can rename the device after it shows "Added successfully". Tap "Done" to finish.

Quick Start
Attention: Five consecutive failed verification attempts will trigger an alarm. ⚠️
Unlock the Door with Fingerprint
Press the registered fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor. ➡️ Push the door to open.

Unlock the Door with Password
Touch the keypad to activate the lock. ➡️ Enter the registered password and press the '#' key to confirm. ➡️ Push the door to open.
Note: Random passwords can be used to prevent observation. Maximum length is 30 digits.

Unlock the Door with Card
Swipe the registered card on the detection area. ➡️ Push the door to open.
