General Installation: Read this guide carefully. Contact Customer Care for queries. Professional installation is recommended to prevent potential service charges due to incorrect installation.
Battery Handling: The device requires four AA alkaline batteries (not included). Non-alkaline and rechargeable batteries are NOT RECOMMENDED. Do not remove batteries during operation. Batteries must be replaced immediately when the lock prompts a "low power, replace the batteries" warning.
Maintenance: Content is subject to revision without prior notice to improve quality and performance.
Manual Unlocking: The lock is equipped with mechanical keys for manual unlocking. Please keep the keys in a safe place.
Fingerprint Positioning: For optimal fingerprint recognition, use your index, middle, or ring fingers. Avoid thumbs or pinkies as they are more challenging to press precisely against the fingerprint reader.

Installation Diagram
The installation diagram illustrates the exploded view of the lock components. It shows how the outdoor unit, indoor unit, mortise, spindle, battery cover, and strike plate/box are assembled and attached to the door using various screws and studs. The spindle passes through the mortise, connecting the interior and exterior handles. The battery cover secures the batteries within the indoor unit.
Installation Procedure
1. Door Properties
A. Measure Door Thickness: Measure your door's thickness and select the appropriate spindle length from the table provided.
B. Check Door Opening Direction: Determine the door's opening direction (left inward, right inward, left outward, right outward) relative to your position outside the room. This dictates the handle placement. Diagrams illustrate these four possibilities.
2. Adjust Latch Direction (if necessary)
- Push the reversing block upwards.
- Push the latch bolt into the mortise.
- Rotate the latch bolt 180° inside the mortise and release.
3. Adjust Handle Direction (if necessary)
- Remove the screw securing the handle.
- Rotate the handle 180° to the opposite side.
- Reinstall and tighten the screw.
4. Drilling Holes on the Door
Place the installation template at the desired handle height. Mark the hole locations and drill them according to the template. Ensure the backset and center line are correctly aligned.
5. Installation of the Mortise
Insert the mortise into the pre-drilled hole and secure it using Screw A.
6. Installation of the Studs and the Outdoor Unit
Place the spindle and studs on the rear of the outdoor unit. Pass the outdoor unit cable through the top cable hole. Insert the studs through the door's drilled holes to attach the outdoor unit. Ensure the triangle mark on the spindle is facing upwards.
7. Installation of the Indoor Unit
Connect the cable to the indoor unit's port. Attach the indoor unit to the door, ensuring correct alignment. Secure it using Screw B and Screw C.
8. Installation of the Batteries and the Cover
Install four AA alkaline batteries into the indoor unit. Replace the battery cover and insert the plug.
9. Installation of the Strike Plate and the Box
Ensure the strike plate and box align with the latch bolt. Use the installation template to mark and drill holes in the door frame. Align the strike plate and box with the drilled holes and secure them with Screw A.
10. Test the Lock
Insert the mechanical key into the keyhole and rotate it 90° anticlockwise. Press the handle to retract the latches and open the door.
