Lamp Assembly
This lamp can be configured as a Floor Lamp, Table Lamp, or Clamp-On Lamp.
Floor Use
- Place the base (A) on a flat, steady surface (the floor).
- Remove bolt (E), flat washer (D), and wrench (F) from the plastic bag.
- Firmly insert the dowel (C) of the pole (B) into the hole in the base (A).
- Insert the bolt (E) through the flat washer (D) and into the recessed hole at the bottom of the base (A).
- Use the enclosed wrench (F) to tighten the bolt (E) securely by turning clockwise.
- Assemble the shade assembly (H) by inserting dowel (G) into the hole of the upper pole (B). Ensure the indent on the front of dowel (G) aligns with the inner tab for a secure fit. The shade assembly (H) should be flush with the upper pole (B) and free to rotate. (See Figure 2 for dowel indent detail).
Table Use
- Place the base (A) on a flat, steady surface (the table).
- Remove bolt (E), flat washer (D), and wrench (F) from the plastic bag.
- Assemble the shade assembly (H) by inserting dowel (G) into the hole of the base (A).
- Insert the bolt (E) through the flat washer (D) and into the recessed hole at the bottom of the base (A).
- Use the enclosed wrench (F) to tighten the bolt (E) securely by turning clockwise.
Clamp-On Use
- Attach the clamp (J) to a table, shelf, or other strong, solid surface. Secure the clamp (J) by turning screw (W) clockwise by hand until it is tightly fastened.
- Assemble the shade assembly (H) by inserting dowel (G) into the hole of the clamp (J). The shade assembly (H) should be flush with the clamp (J) and free to rotate.
Operation
- To position the shade (K): Turn wingnut (M, N) counter-clockwise to loosen. Adjust the shade (K) to the desired position and tighten the wingnut (M, N) by turning clockwise. Do not move the arm (O) with wingnuts tightened, and do not overtighten them.
- The shade (K) can be rotated side-to-side at its neck. Do not attempt to rotate the shade 360 degrees.
- This lamp includes an LED lighted magnifier (Q) and clip (R). Adjust the position of the magnifier and clip by grasping the flexible neck (T, U) and repositioning.
- To prevent tipping when using the Table or Floor mount, ensure the weight of the shade assembly, LED lighted magnifier, and clip is positioned over the long part of the base. (See Figure 1).
- Plug the lamp into a standard 120V outlet.
- Turn the lamp ON & OFF using the power switch (L). The lamp offers 3 levels of brightness.
- To turn the lamp ON to the 1st brightness setting, touch the switch once.
- For the 2nd brightness setting, touch the switch twice.
- For the 3rd brightness setting, touch the switch three times.
- To turn the lamp OFF, touch the switch four times.
- Turn the LED lighted magnifier ON or OFF by sliding switch (S) UP or DOWN.
- The auxiliary outlet (V) located in the base of the shade assembly is available for use with a two-prong, polarized 120V tool of less than 700 watts. (See Figure 3). The outlet (V) is not controlled by the lamp switch and can be used when the lamp is turned OFF.
