1. Product Details
The 4G camera is equipped with an integrated SIM card with unlimited data for 7 days.

2. Camera Installation
This indoor camera only supports horizontal installation and does not support other installation methods. It is recommended to place the indoor camera on a desk for detection.
3. Cococam App Installation
Search for "Cococam" in the App Store or GooglePlay or scan the QR code to download and install the application on your phone.
NOTE: Please enable the following two permissions when using this application for the first time.
- Authorize Cococam to access mobile cellular data and local wireless network, otherwise you will not be able to add the camera.
- Authorize Cococam to send you push notifications, otherwise your phone will not receive notifications for motion detection or sound alarm triggers.
Click the "4G" button on the device preview interface to access the data recharge entry.
3.1 Create an Account: New users must register via email. Click "Register" and follow the steps to complete registration and log in.
3.2 Help and Feedback: For any problems or questions regarding the products, please send an email to: service@cococam.com with your product model number. We will respond within 24 hours.
4. Powering On the Camera
Press and hold the power button for five seconds to turn on the camera. If it does not turn on, connect the DC5V 1A/2A power adapter and charge the camera for 15 minutes before trying again. The camera is powered on when the indicator light under the lens flashes slowly.
5. Adding the Camera
Before use:
- If you are using an SD card, insert the Micro-SD card (2-128GB) before starting. If the Micro-SD card is inserted after powering on, detection may fail and the product will need to be powered on again.
- Before adding the camera, please enable Bluetooth authorization and APP positioning authorization, then enable the phone's Bluetooth and start preparing for camera connection. (Note: If you do not open the application, the camera connection will fail)
- We recommend installing the camera in an open area. If signal interference occurs near the camera, it will affect the normal use of the camera.

- Click the "+" sign in the upper right corner of the homepage and select "Scanner".
- Wait for the camera to connect to the Internet, scan the QR code on the device body, and wait for the automatic connection to complete the addition.
- If the addition fails, please reset the camera and add it again.
6. PIR Detection
PIR Sensor Detection Range: The PIR "alarm setting" is enabled by default and the default sensitivity is high, but it is adjustable: "Device"-"Settings"-"Alarm Setting". The detection distance is 10 meters.
*REMARK: Higher sensitivity allows for longer detection distances, but results in a greater number of false alarms.
7. Push Notification and Alarm Playback
The battery camera with PIR sensor is not designed to record 24/7, but it sends notifications to the app and records videos to the micro SD card or a cloud server (for an additional fee) when the PIR sensor detects human body movements. You can watch the videos from anywhere via the Cococam app.
When the PIR sensor is triggered, the camera and its system activate.
- There will be an alarm sound in the app. Please allow Cococam app notifications in your mobile phone's settings and adjust your mobile phone's volume.
- Alarm snapshots and video recordings on the micro SD card/cloud storage. Ensure the micro SD card is inserted.
8. Best Conditions for Night Vision
When the camera is in night vision mode, an obstacle within three meters of the lens will concentrate the infrared rays on it and illuminate it, and night vision will not work. Regardless of where the camera is installed, ensure there are no obstacles within three meters of the lens.
9. Important Information to Reduce False Alarms
- To reduce the number of false alarms, please:
- Do not install the camera in a location with bright objects or light, such as the sun, bright lamps, etc.
- Do not place the camera in a location where vehicles and people frequently come and go.
- Keep the camera away from air conditioner vents, humidifiers, heat transfer openings, etc.
- Do not point the camera towards mirrors or glass.
10.2 Surveillance Area Coverage
When installing the camera, the PIR sensor should not be aligned vertically with moving objects, as it may fail to detect movements. It is recommended to tilt the camera by more than 10 degrees to capture all movements.
10. Video Playback and Micro SD Card
Video recordings are stored on the micro SD card (not included) or in the cloud.
- Supports 2GB to 128GB only.
- To ensure a constant recognition rate and lifespan of the micro SD card, we recommend a Class 10 micro SD card from Samsung, SanDisk, or Kingston.
- Verify that the micro SD card is not damaged and format it before inserting it into the camera. The format must be FAT32 or EXFAT32.
- After inserting the micro SD card into the camera, the memory volume will be displayed in the Cococam application. This means the camera's micro SD card is readable.
- If the micro SD card is not readable, contact us for assistance.

4 | Why do you receive captures with people in the frame? | 1) The camera needs time to react and people move too fast. 2) Objects that dissipate heat can be detected by the PIR. In this case, reduce the PIR alarm sensitivity. |
5 | Why do I receive frequent alarms? | The environment or the number of vehicles in the location where you installed the camera frequently triggers the cameras. Set the camera alarm sensitivity to "low". |
6 | How is it that people pass by without triggering the alarm? | The PIR inspection zone has a limited range. The person may be too far or too close, or they may pass quickly in the corner of the video and not be detected by the PIR. |
