Supported Systems: Win 7 or later, Chrome OS, Linux, Win ARM.
An installation guide video is available on the U-disk.
Step 1: Install the driver
- Connect the printer and computer (skip if already done).
- Install the driver: Copy the driver file (e.g., 'Label Printer Driver Setup.exe') from the U-disk to your PC, then open and install it. You can also download the latest driver from jadens.com/support/download/label-printer-drivers/.
- Click 'Get USB Port' to identify the USB port connected to the printer, then click 'Setup' to complete the printer setup.
Troubleshooting: If you see a 'Printer Disconnected!' message, ensure the printer and computer are properly connected via USB and the printer is powered on. Reinstall if necessary.
After setup, check your computer's 'Printers & scanners' settings to confirm 'Label Printer(4inch)' is installed. Print a test page to verify successful installation.
Note: If printing fails, restart your computer and printer, then reinstall the driver. Repeated installations may create duplicate printer entries; always use the latest installed version.
Step 2: Add the Bluetooth of Printer
Ensure the printer and computer are connected via USB cable. Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Devices' > 'Bluetooth & other devices' > 'Add Bluetooth or other device'.
Find your Bluetooth printer (e.g., 'JD-168BT_XXXX') and connect using PIN '0000'.
Step 3: Match the COM port
- In 'Bluetooth & other devices', go to 'More Bluetooth options' > 'COM Ports'. Note the 'Outgoing' COM port number for your printer (e.g., COM4).
- Go to 'Printer & Scanners', find 'Label Printer(4inch)', click 'Manage', then 'Printer properties', and select the 'Ports' tab. Match the printer's COM port to the one identified for your Bluetooth connection (e.g., COM4). Click 'OK'.
Note: Ignore any 'Driver is unavailable' messages; they are normal and do not affect printing.
You can now unplug the USB cable. Open a PDF file and select 'Label Printer(4inch)' to print. You can adjust printer preferences like darkness, speed, and size before printing.
Note: If printing fails, restart your computer and printer, then reinstall the driver.

- Copy the driver file ('Label Printer-MacOS.pkg') to your desktop and install it. You can also download the driver from jadens.com/support/download/label-printer-drivers/.
