Assembly Steps

Step 1

Attach the two base panels together using 8x screws (118331) and 20x cam lock screws (153548). Ensure the panels are correctly oriented.

Step 2

Attach the side panels to the base assembly. Insert 4x cam lock screws (153548) into the base. Attach the side panels, aligning them with the cam lock screws, and secure them using 4x drawer runner components (158568) which act as guides or supports.

Step 3

Insert 20x wooden dowels (10136214) into the designated holes on the side panels. Attach the vertical support pieces to the side panels, aligning them with the dowels.

Step 4

Insert 20x cam locks (110519) into the side panels. Attach the side panels to the main structure by aligning them with the cam lock screws and tightening the cam locks.

Step 5

Place the top panel onto the assembled frame. Insert dowels into the top edges of the side panels and secure the top panel by tightening the cam locks.

Step 6

Attach the drawer runner assemblies (101345) to the inside of the side panels. Use 4x fasteners/components (117434, 119030, 120076) for each runner. Ensure they are correctly oriented for drawer movement.

Step 7

Attach the back panel to the rear of the unit. Secure it using screws. The diagram shows screws being inserted into the edges of the main frame.

Step 8

Insert the drawer slides/runners into the main cabinet unit. The diagram shows aligning them with pre-drilled holes on the side panels.

Step 9

Assemble the drawer box. Insert 4x cam lock screws (101345) and 4x cam lock components (117434, 119030, 120076) into the drawer side panels. Connect the drawer side panels to the drawer base.

Step 10

Attach the drawer bottom panel to the assembled drawer frame. Secure it using 1x screw (101221).

Step 11

Attach the drawer front panel to the drawer box. Secure it using 1x screw (101221).

Step 12

Attach the drawer front panel to the drawer box. Secure it using 1x screw (101221).

Step 13

Secure the top panel of the main unit. Use 27x screws (101221) to fasten it in place.

Step 14

Assemble drawer box components. Attach drawer side panels to the drawer base using 4x screws (118331).

Step 15

Insert dowels into the drawer side panels. Align and connect the drawer side panels to the drawer base.

Step 16

Attach the drawer side panels to the drawer base, aligning them with pre-drilled holes and fasteners.

Step 17

Attach the drawer runners to the drawer sides. Use 4x cam lock components (117434, 119030, 120076) for each runner, securing them to the drawer side panels.

Step 18

Insert the drawer sides into the drawer base, ensuring proper alignment.

Step 19

Attach the drawer back panel to the assembled drawer box.

Step 20

Attach the drawer front panel to the drawer box. Secure it using 4x screws (110519).

Step 21

Attach the drawer bottom panel to the drawer box. Secure it using 2x screws (115339).

Step 22

Insert the assembled drawers into the main cabinet unit. Align the drawer runners on the drawers with the runners inside the cabinet. Use fasteners to secure the runners or guides.

Step 23

Open the assembled drawers.

Step 24

Final placement and check of the assembled MALM unit.
