R. STAHL 9176/10-16-00s Loop-Powered Binary Output Isolator

Ex i field circuit | Art. No. 222182

Product Overview

The R. STAHL Series 9176 binary outputs transmit binary signals for the intrinsically safe operation of Ex i solenoid valves, indicator lamps, and horns. These devices do not require a separate auxiliary power supply as they are powered by the control circuit. The intrinsically safe outputs are galvanically separated from the inputs. The two-channel variants are characterized by galvanically separated channels, reducing the amount of space required.

Technical Drawings

Output Characteristic

The document includes a graph illustrating the output characteristic for the 9175/.0-16-11 and 9176/.0-16-00 output. The graph plots current (I [mA]) on the X-axis against voltage (U [V]) on the Y-axis. It shows characteristic curves for each channel (A) and for parallel channels (B) within specific temperature ranges.

Diagram Description:

A schematic shows a field device connected to an ISpac Isolator, which is then connected to a control system. The diagram indicates hazardous areas (Division 1, Zone 0/1) and safe areas (Division 2, Zone 2). The connection is labeled as Type 9176/10-..-..-..
