Installation Steps

1. Measure the Door Frame Head: Determine the full width of the door frame opening.
2. Cut the Top Gasketing Piece: Trim the part to the full width. Let the gasketing extend slightly beyond the metal retainer for a tight seal.
3. Close the Door: Allow the self-closing door to shut fully.
4. Position the Gasketing: Press the gasketing lightly against the door for a good seal.
5. Attach: Use the provided sheet metal screws in the holes or slot centers. Do not tighten screws fully—allow room for adjustment.
6. Install Side Jambs: Measure door sides and attach side gasketing using steps 2–5. Side pieces have slotted holes for easier alignment.
7. Tighten All Screws: Once properly aligned, tighten all fasteners securely.
8. Test Door Operation: Open and close the door to confirm that gasketing doesn't interfere with self-closing or latching. Adjust as needed.
