Dash with Factory Radio Removed
Key to symbols:
- B = Back up plates required.
- C1 = Cut trim/plastic (structure).
- C2 = Cut steel.
- D = Below deck only.
- D1 = Lift portion of deck. May require structural reinforcement.
- D2 = Cut steel when top mounted. Do not if below deck.
- N = Narrow surface, below deck only.
- P = Perfect without modification.
- P1 = Modify or remove pockets.
- P2 = Coin pocket location in dash (may require trim kit).
- P3 = Perfect when equipped with standard two shaft radio, K without.
- R = Rear load ISO mount.
- U = Underdash.
- W1 = With power windows only.
- W2 = Without power windows only.
- K = Kit modifications required.
- K1 = Extension kit recommended.
- K2 = Fabricate panel/brackets.
- K5 = Minimum modification file shaft holes or dash opening.
- K6 = Modify dash cavity and/or panel.
- K7 = Installation kit, spacer or adaptor required.
- K8 = When equipped with factory "electronic" radio.
- K9 = When equipped with standard two shaft radio/tape player. Fabricate kit when equipped with flat face electronic radio/tape player.

Front Doors

Installation Procedures
Preliminary
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Antenna
The factory antenna is located in the rear window.
Radio Removal and In-Dash Installation
Note: The factory stereo provision is for a double DIN radio. An installation kit is recommended for aftermarket DIN or shaft style radios. Scosche recommends the use of a Scosche GM1583B or GM1590 and a GM03 wiring harness.
- Unsnap shifter panel and leave it loose.
- Using panel removal tool, remove radio trim bezel, unplug and remove (six snaps total).
- Extract (3) 9/32 screws securing radio, unplug and remove.
Front Door Speaker Installation
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 4 x 6" speaker. An adapter is recommended when installing aftermarket 3-1/2" and 4" speakers. Scosche recommends the SA463 and SA464 speaker adapters.
- Unsnap screw cover behind door pull and extract (2) #3 Phillips screws from behind.
- Remove reflector cover and extract (1) #3 Phillips head screw from behind.
- Unsnap perimeter using panel removal tool, lift up, unplug and remove.
Rear Door Speaker Installation
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6 x 9" speaker. An adapter is recommended when installing aftermarket 5-1/4" and 6-1/2" speakers. Scosche recommends the SAC69 speaker adapters.
- Fold down rear seat backs.
- Unsnap (4) panel fasteners along front edge of rear deck.
- Unsnap left and right rear window pillars and remove.
- Unsnap rear deck, lift up, pull forward and remove.
