In-Dash DIN Radio Installation Kit for 2003-06 Dodge Sprinter
Kit Components
This kit includes:
- 6321 Trim Ring: A trim piece designed to fit around the new radio.
- 6320 Kit Panel: The main dash panel that houses the new radio.
The visual representation shows two components: a curved trim ring labeled "6321 TRIM RING" and a rectangular dash panel labeled "6320 KIT PANEL".
Car Stereo Connectors
The kit provides connectors for easy integration with your vehicle's factory wiring harness:
- VW01B: For connecting your car stereo to the factory wiring harness (compatible with 1985-up Select Volkswagen vehicles).
- VWAB: A VW/European Antenna Converter.
The visual representation shows two connector blocks labeled "VW01B" and "VWAB". The VW01B block has multiple wires, and the VWAB is a single adapter.
Factory Stereo Removal
- Use Dodge radio extraction tools or the Scosche DT2B (DIN Radio Removal Tool) to release the factory radio from the dash.
- Unplug connectors and remove the factory radio.
- Remove the factory radio trim ring. This part will not be used with the Scosche kit.
Stereo Installation
- Press the Scosche 6320 Kit Panel tightly into the factory radio opening.
- Slide the new radio's supplied DIN mounting sleeve through the Scosche 6320 Kit Panel and the factory radio opening.
- Bend the DIN mounting sleeve's tabs. Ensure they securely engage the backside of the factory radio opening.
- Plug in the radio harness and antenna connector. Slide the new radio all the way into the DIN mounting sleeve until it clicks.
- Snap the Scosche 6321 Trim Ring over the radio.
