This document provides specifications and installation guidance for upgrading the car audio system in the 1999-2003 Daewoo Leganza models.

Speaker Fitment
Front Speakers
- Dash: 1½" speaker, 1" mounting depth.
- Front Door: 7" 4-Hole speaker, 3 1/16" mounting depth.
For aftermarket 5 ¼" or 6 ½" speakers, a speaker adapter is required. Scosche recommends the SAC656 speaker adapter.

Rear Speakers
- Rear Door: 6 x 9" 4-Hole speaker, 20" mounting depth.
For aftermarket 5 ¼" or 6 ½" speakers, a speaker adapter is required. Scosche recommends the SA69 speaker adapter.

Installation Procedures
Preliminary Steps
Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning installation.
Antenna Location
The factory antenna is located atop the driver's side rear fender.
Radio Removal and In-Dash Installation
Note: The factory stereo provision is for a Double DIN size radio.
- Using a small angled pick, carefully pull on the far corners of the radio bezel.
- Extract 4 Phillips head screws holding the radio.
- Disconnect and remove the factory radio.
Front Door Speaker Removal and Installation
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 7" 4-Hole speaker mounted in a factory speaker adapter, and a 1½" tweeter. When installing an aftermarket 5 ¼" or 6 ½" speaker, a speaker adapter is required.
Driver Side Speaker
- Extract 5 Phillips head screws from the perimeter of the door panel.
- Extract 1 Phillips head screw from the door grabber cup.
- Use a small pick to release the door cup at the locking mechanism, top and bottom off the door opener.
- Carefully lift upwards on the door panel.
- Extract 4 Phillips head screws from the speaker, disconnect, and remove the speaker.
Tweeter
- Using a small pick, release the left and right side by pressing inwards and lifting up.
- Disconnect and remove the tweeter.
Rear Deck Speaker Removal and Installation
Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6 x 9" 4-Hole speaker. When installing an aftermarket 5 ¼" or 6 ½" speaker, a speaker adapter is required.
- Using a panel removal tool, extract 3 plastic fasteners from the rear deck.
- Disconnect the third brake light and extract 2 x 8 mm nuts holding it in place.
- Use your knee to release the bottom seat cushion.
- Remove the entire seat assembly.
- Lift upwards and out on the rear deck.
- Extract 4 Phillips head screws from the speaker, disconnect, and remove the speaker.
