Getting Started

Before beginning assembly, please review all instructions and identify all parts. Ensure you have the necessary tools: Phillips screwdriver ?, flathead screwdriver ?, and a hammer ?.

Assemble on a soft surface, like a rug, to prevent scratching the table parts. If you encounter any difficulties or have questions, please contact IKEA customer support.

Assembly Steps

Step 1

Attach four brackets (Part No: 122483) to the main frame base using four screws (Part No: 100325).

Step 2

Attach two rails (Part No: 108445) to the frame using two cam locks (Part No: 10103580).

Step 3

Secure extension mechanism components using four screws (Part No: 118331).

Step 4

Attach further extension mechanism parts using two screws (Part No: 156685).

Step 5

Insert four dowels (Part No: 101350) into the table top support pieces. Attach these supports to the main frame.

Step 6

Connect the main frame components together.

Step 7

Attach brackets to the assembled frame.

Step 8

Secure the frame structure using four cam locks (Part No: 103430) and four cam bolts (Part No: 100033).

Step 9

Attach one part (Part No: 10062668) using two screws (Part No: 100325) and two screws (Part No: 10082399).

Step 10

Attach four brackets (Part No: 109535) to the frame using four screws (Part No: 100325).

Step 11

Attach two rails (Part No: 10120478) to the side panels using screws.

Step 12

Secure four extension mechanism runners (Part No: 10035950) to the frame using four screws (Part No: 109535).

Step 13

Insert the extension runners into the main frame structure.

Step 14

Slide the extension runners into their final positions.

Step 15

Attach the table top support pieces using two screws (Part No: 156685).

Step 16

Attach two extension mechanism sliders (Part No: 10064763) using one screw (Part No: 10082205) and one screw (Part No: 10082399).

Step 17

Connect the table top supports to the main frame using two screws (Part No: 100325) and two cam locks (Part No: 10103587).

Step 18

Slide the extension mechanism components into place.

Step 19

Attach the locking mechanism to the frame. A "Click!" sound indicates it is secured.

Step 20

Insert four bolts (Part No: 100033) into the table legs.

Step 21

Attach the four table legs to the frame using four nuts (Part No: 100712), four washers (Part No: 100843), and four bolts (Part No: 120202).

Step 22

Gently tap four caps (Part No: 107271) into place on the legs using a hammer ?.

Step 23

Attach the table top sections. Insert two screws (Part No: 100325) and secure with two cam locks (Part No: 10103587).

Step 24

Attach extension mechanism parts to the table top sections using two screws (Part No: 10082399) and one screw (Part No: 10035981).

Step 25

Attach one extension slider (Part No: 10064763) using one screw (Part No: 10082205) and one screw (Part No: 10082399).

Step 26

Carefully insert the assembled table top sections onto the main frame, aligning the extension runners.

Step 27

Attach the extension mechanism runners to the underside of the table top sections.

Step 28

Connect the extension mechanism to the table top, ensuring it slides smoothly.

Step 29

Extend the table by sliding the table top. Activate the locking mechanism by turning the handle until it clicks. The lock symbol ? indicates the secured state.

Extending and Retracting the Table

To extend the table, unlock the mechanism, slide the table top sections apart. To retract, slide the sections back together and re-lock the mechanism.

Safety and Care

Ensure all screws and fittings are tightened periodically. Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals.
