LILLFJÄLLET Bed Frame Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Bed Frame

Place the bed frame on a level surface. Insert the slatted base (labeled FÖLUNGEN) into the designated slots within the bed frame. Ensure it is fully seated.

Step 2: Attach the Main Cover

Take the large fabric cover for the main bed frame. Align it with the bed frame structure. Locate the zipper on the cover and begin to zip it closed around the frame.

Step 3: Cover the Headboard

Take the fabric cover for the headboard. Drape it over the headboard, ensuring it is positioned correctly. The cover has a specific orientation.

Step 4: Secure the Headboard Cover

On the back of the headboard, locate the attachment points. Secure the headboard cover by fastening the integrated straps or Velcro tabs.

Step 5: Attach Headboard Straps

Fasten the adjustable straps located on the back of the headboard cover. These straps will be used to attach the headboard to the bed frame.

Step 6: Align Headboard with Bed Frame

Position the headboard assembly onto the main bed frame. Align the attachment points on the headboard cover with the corresponding points on the bed frame.

Step 7: Secure Headboard to Bed Frame

Connect the headboard to the bed frame using the provided straps and fasteners. Ensure a secure fit by tightening the straps and engaging any locking mechanisms.

Step 8: Prepare Mattress Base Cover

Take the fabric cover for the mattress base. Place it over the mattress base, aligning it correctly. The cover is designed to fit snugly.

Step 9: Secure Mattress Base Cover

Fasten the mattress base cover using the integrated straps or Velcro tabs located on the underside of the base. Pull the straps taut to ensure a secure fit. Repeat this process four times.

Step 10: Prepare Drawer Covers

Take the fabric covers for the storage drawers. Fold or prepare them for attachment to the drawer boxes. A close-up shows a zipper being partially closed.

Step 11: Attach Drawer Fronts

Attach the prepared drawer covers to the front panels of the storage drawers. Ensure the zippers are correctly aligned and closed.

Step 12: Place the Mattress

Carefully place the main mattress onto the assembled bed frame and mattress base.

Step 13: Secure Mattress Cover

Secure the mattress cover to the mattress base using the provided straps. Ensure the cover is taut and fits smoothly over the mattress. Repeat this process four times.

Step 14: Assemble Drawer Components

Assemble the individual components of the storage drawers. This may involve attaching side, back, and bottom panels, and fitting wheels. Arrows indicate connection and rotation.

Step 15: Finalize Drawer Assembly and Hardware

Attach the drawer fronts (prepared in Step 11) to the assembled drawer boxes. Secure them using the provided screws (part number 109049) and washers (part number 100823).
