General Information
The JA-110P PET is a bus device within the JABLOTRON system, used for detecting the motion of people in buildings. Unlike the standard JABLOTRON 100 series PIR motion detectors, this detector features a modified detection characteristic and is equipped with basic pet immunity. The detector effectively eliminates the effects of movement by small animals on the floor (animals weighing up to approximately 25 kg and with a maximum height of 40 cm). It operates with a pulse reaction and takes a position within the system. Installation should be performed by a trained technician holding a valid certificate issued by an authorized distributor.
⚠ The detector only eliminates the effects of animal movement on the floor according to the detection characteristics. It is not suitable for monitoring areas where animals can move freely in height!
Installation
The detector can be installed on a wall or in a corner of a room. Ensure that the detector's field of view does not contain objects that rapidly change temperature (e.g., electric heaters, gas appliances) or move (e.g., curtains hanging above a radiator, robot vacuum cleaners). Although the detector is highly resistant to false alarms, it is not recommended to install it in locations with intense air circulation (near fans, air conditioning units, vents, unsealed doors, etc.). There should be no obstructions within the detector's field of view that would hinder its view into the monitored area.
The recommended installation height for the detector is 2 meters, with a maximum height of 2.2 meters.

Figure 1 illustrates the mounting options and key components:
- 1: Hole for installation on a flat wall
- 2, 4: Holes for installation in an angle (in a corner)
- 3: PCB retaining tab
- 5: Cover tab
- Open the detector cover by pressing the cover tab (5). Avoid touching the PIR sensor inside (11) as this may cause damage.
- Remove the circuit board; it is held in place by a tab (3).
- Punch through the designated holes for screws and the cable in the plastic base. The recommended installation height for the detector is 2 meters above the floor.
- Insert the bus cable and attach the plastic base to the wall using screws (vertically, with the cover tab facing downwards).
⚠ When connecting the detector to the bus, always turn off the power to the system.
- Reinstall the circuit board and connect the cables to the terminals (8).

Basic Instructions for System Integration
Continue by following the control panel installation manual. Basic integration steps include:
- Open the F-Link software, select an unused position on the Devices tab, and click the Register button to enter registration mode.
- Click the Scan/add new bus devices option, select the detector, and double-click to confirm the selection. The yellow LED will turn off upon successful registration.
Detector Settings and Testing
Notes on Registration and Settings
- The detector can also be registered in the system by entering its production code in the F-Link software. The production code is found on the sticker (9) on the detector board. All numbers under the barcode must be entered (e.g., 1400-00-0000-0001).
- The detector can also be registered by pressing the cover tamper sensor (10).
- To comply with standard EN 50131-3, the cover tab (5) must be secured with the provided screw.
Setting Detector Properties
Open the F-Link software and navigate to the Devices tab. Click the Internal settings button next to the detector's position to open a dialog box where you can configure:
- LED motion indication: This setting allows you to disable the motion indication via the red LED.
Testing Detectors
In service mode, the red LED indicator on the detector will signal every motion, irrespective of the settings configured in the detector's properties. Individual detector activations can also be monitored via the Diagnostics tab within the F-Link software.
Detection Characteristics
Figure 3: Detection Pattern
Figure 3 illustrates the detection characteristics of the JA-110P PET.
The detector is equipped by default with a lens covering a 90° angle and a range of up to 12 meters. In the white-shaded area of the diagram, the detector eliminates the effects of movement by small animals weighing up to approximately 25 kg and with a maximum height of 40 cm. The grey-shaded area represents the standard detection range.
The diagram shows:
- Maximum detection height: 2.2 meters
- Recommended installation height: 2 meters
- Detection angle: 90°
- Standard detection range: up to 12 meters
- Pet immunity detection range: up to 7 meters (within the white area)
