JA-110P PET Bus PIR Motion Detector with Basic Pet Immunity
This document provides information on the JA-110P PET, a JABLOTRON system bus device used for detecting human movement indoors. It features modified detection characteristics and basic pet immunity, ignoring small animals on the floor (up to approximately 25 kg and a maximum height of 40 cm). The detector has a pulse reaction and integrates into the system. Installation must be performed by a trained technician with a valid certificate from an authorized distributor.
The detector specifically ignores the effects of animal movement on the floor based on its detection characteristics. It is not suitable for surveillance areas where animals may move freely at different heights. The detector can be installed on a wall or in a room corner. Ensure the detector's field of view does not include objects that rapidly change temperature (e.g., electric heaters, gas appliances) or move (e.g., curtains over radiators, robot vacuum cleaners). While resistant to false alarms, avoid installing in locations with intense air circulation (near fans, air conditioning, ventilation grilles, unsealed doors). No obstacles should obstruct the detector's view of the protected area. The recommended installation height is 2 m, with a maximum of 2.2 m. Figure 1: Mounting points Describes mounting holes for flat walls (1) and angled corners (2, 4), a PCB retention tab (3), and a cover release tab (5). Follow the control panel installation manual. Close the detector cover and test the detector's operation. In F-Link software, navigate to the Devices tab and click the 'Internal settings' button for the detector's position to open a dialog where you can configure: When in service mode, the detector's red LED indicates each motion event, without reference to the detector's property settings. Individual detector activations can also be monitored in the Diagnostics tab in F-Link software. The detector is equipped with a lens covering 90° / 12 m as standard. The diagram illustrates detection zones: Figure 3: Detection Characteristics Illustrates the detection range, with a 90° field of view. The white zone indicates areas where movement from small animals (up to approx. 25 kg, 40 cm height) is ignored, while the grey zone shows standard detection up to 12 meters. Figure 2: Detector Components Identifies the red activation LED (6), yellow fault LED (7), bus terminals (8), production code sticker (9), cover tamper sensor (10), and PIR sensor (11). JABLOTRON a.s. hereby declares that the JA-110P PET complies with the relevant European Union harmonization legislation: Directives No.: 2014/30/EU, 2011/65/EU, when used as intended.
