Product Overview

The Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic offer a convenient and wire-free audio experience. They come with a charging case for storage and power.

Key Components:

• Charging Case: Houses and charges the earbuds. Features a charging port, charging pins, and an indicator light.
• Earbuds: Each earbud contains a multi-function button, an indicator light, a microphone, and contact points for charging.
• Ear Tips: Provided in multiple sizes (S, M, L) to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The earbuds come with size M pre-installed.

Getting Started

Wearing the Earbuds

Gently insert the earbud into your ear canal. Ensure it is secure and does not easily sway when you move your head. For clearer calls, adjust the earbud so the microphone is exposed and pointed towards your mouth.

Charging

Before first use, remove the protective film from the earbuds' charging contact points. Connect the charging cable to charge both the earbuds and the charging case simultaneously. The charging case indicator is red while charging and turns off when fully charged. The earbud indicator is red while charging and turns white when fully charged, then turns off after 1 minute.

Turning On

The earbuds automatically turn on when removed from the charging case. If the earbuds are off and not in the case, press and hold the multi-function button for 1 second until the indicator turns white.

Turning Off

The earbuds automatically turn off when placed back into the charging case. If the earbuds are on, press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds until the indicator turns red.

Using the Earbuds

Dual Earbud Usage

Automatic Connection: Remove both earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically turn on and connect to each other within 2-3 seconds. When the right earbud's indicator blinks white slowly, search for "Mi True Wireless EBs Basic_R" in your device's Bluetooth settings and pair. If pairing fails, return them to the case and try again. Once paired, they will automatically connect to the last paired device when turned on.

Manual Connection: If earbuds are off, manually turn on both. Their indicators will blink white quickly. Once connected to each other, the right earbud's indicator will blink white slowly. Enable Bluetooth on your device and pair with the earbuds.

Single Earbud Usage

Automatic Connection: Remove one earbud from the charging case. It will turn on automatically, with its indicator blinking white quickly, then slowly. Enable Bluetooth on your device, search for "Mi True Wireless EBs Basic_R" or "Mi True Wireless EBs Basic_L", and pair. Once paired, it will automatically connect to the last paired device when turned on. (Note: The left earbud (L) may have a longer automatic connection time.)

Manual Connection: If earbuds are off, manually turn on one earbud. When its indicator blinks white slowly, enable Bluetooth on your device and pair the earbud.

Resetting the Earbuds

If earbuds fail to connect properly, reset them: Remove earbuds from the case and ensure they are off. Press and hold the multi-function button on both earbuds for approximately 15 seconds. When the indicator blinks red and white alternately three times (twice), release the button and place the earbuds back in the case. Delete the earbuds from your device's paired list and pair again.

Function Overview

The following functions are available on both earbuds:

• Answer/End Calls: Gently press the multi-function button.
• Reject a Call: Press and hold the button for 1 second.
• Play/Pause Music: Gently press the multi-function button while music is playing or paused. (Requires a music player running in the background.)
• Activate Voice Assistant: Press the multi-function button twice while in standby mode. (Requires device support for voice assistant and quick wake-up.)
• Answer Second Call/Switch Calls: Gently press the multi-function button upon an incoming call. During a call, gently press twice to switch between calls.
• Switch Between Earbuds and Device: During a call, press and hold the multi-function button for 1 second to switch audio output between earbuds and your phone.
• Mute/Unmute: During calls, gently press the multi-function button twice.
