Product Overview

The Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic offer a wire-free audio experience. The package includes the earbuds and a charging case.

Ear Tip Sizes: The earbuds come with medium (M) size ear tips pre-attached. Small (S) and large (L) size ear tips are included in the package. You can change the ear tips as needed for a comfortable fit.

Wearing the Earbuds

Gently insert the earbud into your ear. Ensure it is securely fitted and does not loosen during head movements.

Important Note: Be careful not to cover the microphone with your finger or ear during calls. For optimal call quality, position the earbud's microphone towards your mouth.

Charging

Before using the device, remove any protective films and charge both the earbuds and the charging case.

Connect a cable to the charging case to charge both the earbuds and the case simultaneously. The charging case indicator light will be red while charging. It turns white when fully charged and then turns off after one minute.

Powering On and Off

Powering On: The earbuds automatically turn on when removed from the charging case. If the earbuds are outside the case and powered off, press and hold the multifunction button for 1 second to turn them on.

Powering Off: The earbuds automatically turn off when placed back into the charging case. To turn them off manually, press and hold the multifunction button for 5 seconds until the indicator light turns red.

Using the Earbuds

Automatic Pairing: Remove both earbuds from the charging case simultaneously and wait 2-3 seconds for them to power on. If the right earbud's indicator flashes white, you can find "Mi True Wireless EBs Basic_R" in your device's Bluetooth settings. If you cannot pair the earbuds, return them to the charging case and repeat the previous steps. After the first successful pairing, the earbuds will connect automatically to your paired device.

Note: The earbuds are reset to factory settings from the factory, so you can start pairing them immediately.

Manual Pairing: If the earbuds are off, manually turn on one earbud. When its indicator slowly flashes white, enable Bluetooth on your device and pair the earbud.

Resetting Earbuds / "Cannot Pair" Issue: If the earbuds cannot connect properly, please follow these steps for resetting: Remove the earbuds from the charging case and ensure they are powered off. Press and hold the multifunction button on both earbuds for approximately 15 seconds. After the indicator alternately flashes red and white three times, then twice, release the button and place the earbuds back into the charging case. Remove the earbuds from your device's list of paired devices, and then pair them again with your device.

Functions

These functions can be used on both earbuds:

• Answering/Rejecting Calls: Press the multifunction button once to answer an incoming call. Press and hold the button for 1 second to reject a call.

• Music Playback/Pause: Press the button to play or pause music if a music player is active on your device.

• Activating Voice Assistant: Press the multifunction button twice to activate the voice assistant.
• Note: The voice assistant function must be enabled in your device's settings and supported by your device.

Handling Second Call and Switching

Press once during an ongoing call to answer a second incoming call. Press twice to switch between the active calls.

Switching Audio Between Earbuds and Device

Press and hold the multifunction button for 1 second to switch the audio output between your device and the earbuds during a call.

Muting Microphone

During a call, press the button twice to mute or unmute the microphone.
