Assembly Steps
Follow these steps to assemble your PLATSA unit. Ensure all connections are secure.
Step 1: Assemble the Base Frame
Connect the side panels to the base panel using the provided screws (e.g., 114142) and connectors (e.g., 100092). The diagrams show how these parts fit together.
Step 2: Install Back Panels
Slide or attach the back panels into the designated grooves on the frame. Secure them as shown, often with small fasteners.
Step 3: Insert Shelves
Place shelf pins (e.g., 10044727) into the pre-drilled holes on the side panels at your desired shelf height. Then, place the shelves onto these pins.
Step 4: Attach Top Panel
Secure the top panel to the assembled frame using the appropriate screws and connectors.
Step 5: Complete Main Unit Assembly
Attach the second side panel to finalize the basic structure of the shelving unit.
Step 6: Attach Wall Mounting Brackets
Fasten the wall mounting brackets (e.g., 10044713, 10100447, 10128308) to the rear of the unit using the specified screws. Ensure they are firmly attached.
Step 7: Secure Unit to Wall
Position the assembled unit against the wall. Mark the wall through the bracket holes. Drill holes, insert suitable wall plugs (not included), and then screw the unit securely to the wall through the brackets.
Important: Always use screws and wall plugs appropriate for your wall type. Consult a professional if unsure.
Step 8: Adding More Units and Stacking
Additional shelves can be added as needed. Multiple PLATSA units can be stacked vertically. The maximum recommended stacking height is 300 cm (118 7/64 inches). Ensure all stacked units are securely fastened to the wall.
General Assembly Notes
Pay close attention to the diagrams for correct part orientation and hardware usage. The "Click!" indication signifies a properly engaged fastener.
