Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from furniture tip over. To prevent tip over, this furniture must be used with the wall attachment device(s) provided.

Screw(s) and plug(s) for the wall are not included. Use screw(s) and plug(s) suitable for your walls. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the instruction carefully.

Assembly Instructions

The following steps detail the assembly of the PLATSA unit. Please follow each step carefully.

Tools and Preparation

  • 8x Screws (Part No. 151706)
  • 4x Long Screws (Part No. 108736)
  • 4x Small Screws (Part No. 152059)
  • 4x Plastic Caps (Part No. 146113)
  • 2x Round Caps (Part No. 10005905)
  • 2x Washers (Part No. 10090922)
  • 2x Feet (Part No. 150689)
  • 2x Brackets (Part No. 150688)
  • 2x Connecting Plates (Part No. 126916)

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Connecting Panels

Two people are shown connecting side panels to form the basic frame. Detail shows inserting screws into pre-drilled holes and securing them. Ensure screws are inserted correctly [correct screw insertion] and not at an angle [incorrect screw insertion].

Step 2: Forming the Box Structure

Attach the bottom panel to the side panels, indicated by arrows [arrow].

Step 3: Securing Connections

Secure the structure using cam locks or similar fasteners. Detail shows inserting a cam lock and turning it to secure the connection [cam lock mechanism].

Step 4: Attaching Back Panel

Slide or attach the back panel into the frame, as shown.

Step 5: Attaching Feet

Attach the feet to the bottom of the unit using screws (8x Part No. 151706 and 8x Part No. 151705).

Step 6: Attaching Internal Components

Attach hinges or other internal fittings as shown (2x Part No. 150688).

Refer to separate LÄTTHET instructions for related accessories [info-symbol, LÄTTHET instructions].

Note on moving furniture: Always lift furniture with two people [two people lifting]. Do not drag it [prohibited action].

Step 7: Attaching Feet to Unit

Attach the feet (2x Part No. 150689) to the assembled unit.

Step 8: Attaching Top Panel

Attach the top panel to the unit.

Step 9: Adjustments and Accessories

Make any necessary adjustments to the unit. Refer to LÄTTHET instructions for additional accessories [info-symbol, LÄTTHET instructions].

Step 10: Attaching Doors/Drawers

Attach doors or drawer fronts. Detail shows a mechanism that clicks into place [click].

Step 11: Joining Units

Use connecting brackets (2x Part No. 126916) to join multiple PLATSA units together. Detail shows how to attach the brackets and secure them with screws.

Step 12: Stacking Units

Units can be stacked. Ensure they are securely fastened together using the provided hardware.

Step 13: Wall Attachment

Secure the assembled unit(s) to the wall using appropriate wall attachment devices (not included). The diagram shows how to attach brackets to the unit and the wall.

Detail views show the attachment process with screws and brackets, referencing part numbers 146113 and 10090922.

Step 14: Final Checks

Review all connections and ensure the unit is stable and securely attached.

Step 15: Stacking Height Limit

Maximum stacking height is 300 cm (118 7/64"). Detail views show connecting screws (4x Part No. 108736 and 4x Part No. 152059) used for stacking.
