Getting Started

To turn on: Press and hold the Power/Volume+ Button for 2 seconds until the LED Indicator flashes blue.

To turn off: Press and hold the Power/Volume+ Button for 3 seconds until the LED Indicator flashes red.

Pairing

1. Start with Open Swim Pro turned off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ Button for 5 seconds until the LED Indicator flashes red and blue.
3. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "Open Swim Pro by Shokz". Once your device confirms successful pairing, you're all set.

Shokz App

The Shokz App allows you to switch between Bluetooth and MP3 modes, manage multipoint pairing, upgrade firmware, change EQ modes, and more. Download the App now for a simple and efficient audio experience.

Basic Operations

• Play/Pause music: Click the Multifunction Button.
• Answer call: Click the Multifunction Button.
• End call: Click the Multifunction Button.
• Next song: Click once while playing music.
• Previous song: Triple-click while playing music.
• Mode shifting: Simultaneously press and hold the Volume+ and Volume- Buttons until you hear 'MP3 Mode' or 'Bluetooth Mode'.

Transferring Content

Connect your OpenSwim Pro to your computer using the magnetic data cable. Open the "SWIM PRO" hard drive on your computer to transfer files.

Storage and Maintenance

• Store the headphones in a cool, dry place. The working temperature should be 0~40°C (32~104°F). Using the headphones in extreme cold or heat may shorten the battery life.
• Keep the headphones away from heat sources, combustible gas or other cleaning/corrosive liquids. Keep the headphones away from prolonged direct sunlight, using or placing in hot places such as car interior under high temperature.
• Clean the headphones with a soft dry cloth.
• After storage for a long period, please charge the headphones before using again.

Safety Warnings

• Do not expose the headphones to any liquids other than fresh water, sweat and pool water.
• Placing the headphones in sea water or saline water will likely lead to charging contact corrosion.
• The headphones' liquid and dust resistance level is IP68. Do not use it when diving deeper than 2 m.
• It is recommended to periodically remove any residue that may be accumulated on the headphones.
• Do not subject the battery to disassembly, shock, excessive pressure or fire. In case of serious swelling, stop using it immediately. Do not expose it to high temperature.

Hearing Loss

• Listening with headphones at high volume may affect your hearing and the audio will be distorted.
• Please do not listen to audio at a high volume for extended periods.

Notes on Use

• OpenSwim Pro supports MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, M4A, APE and WMA formats.
• The nominal capacity is the product specification. Due to the differences in computing methods and built-in functions, the actual available space is less than the nominal value. In this case, the actual storage space shall prevail.
• Before swimming with the headphones on, please ensure that it is worn properly and securely, otherwise the headphones may fall into the water due to strenuous movement.
• The headphones include professional silicone swimming earplugs. If the area in contact with the ear becomes inflamed or irritated during use, immediately remove it and seek medical advice.

Battery

CAUTION:

• Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard.
• Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion.
• Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• Do not use the battery if it is noticeably expanded.

Charging

• If the charging contact becomes wet, dry it with a dry, soft towel and let the headphones dry at room temperature until no moisture remains on it before charging.
• Always confirm that the charging port is dry before connecting the device to the charging cable. Failure to do so could result in increased possibility of short circuit issues, fire or explosion danger.
• Do not charge right after exercising in case there’s sweat inside the charging port, which could lead to circuit burning while charging.
• Keep the headphones away from heat sources when charging.
• Only charge with the magnetic charging cable approved by the manufacturer. Other charging cables may not meet applicable safety standards, and charging with such cables could pose a risk of injury to the users or damage to the device.
• Only power supplies that have been approved by relevant departments and meet local regulatory requirements (such as UL, CSA, VDE and CCC) shall be used.

Dangers of Driving

Please note that in some countries or regions, it may be illegal to use the headphones while operating any type of vehicle. Please check and comply with the traffic rules or relevant laws and regulations in your area or consult your local regulatory authority.

Skin Irritation

• Although rare, some users may experience skin allergies or skin sensitivity when coming into long-term contact with the headphones' outer materials.
• To avoid the risk of an allergic reaction, please do not wear the headphones if you are experiencing skin injuries or irritations on or around the neck, ears, and/or head.
• If you experience any redness of the skin, swelling, or itchiness while wearing the headphones, discontinue use of the headphones immediately and consult a physician.

Electromagnetic Interference

• Do not use this product in places where wireless devices are prohibited (such as in airports and local medical facilities, etc.), as it may interfere with other electronic devices or cause other hazards.
• Some electronic devices may fail due to radio interference from this product (e.g., some automotive electronic equipment). Please contact the manufacturer of such electronic devices for more information.
• Radio waves generated by this product may affect the regular operation of some medical devices, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, cochlear implants, hearing aids, etc. If you use any of these medical devices, consult your physician and medical device manufacturer about restrictions on using this product, and keep this product within a safe distance from medical devices. Stop using this product if you suspect interference with your medical devices.

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. End user must follow the specific operating instructions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
