Welcome to the user guide for your Shokz OpenSwim Pro headphones. This guide will help you get the most out of your device.

Headphone Diagram
The OpenSwim Pro features an indicator light, a magnetic charging port, volume buttons (Volume - and Power/Volume +), and a multifunction button.
Powering On and Off
To power on: Press and hold the Power/Volume + button until the blue light flashes. You will hear a power-on prompt tone.
To power off: Press and hold the Power/Volume + button until the red light flashes. You will hear a power-off prompt tone.
Pairing
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Press and hold the Power/Volume + button until the red and blue lights flash alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device, select "OpenSwim Pro by Shokz," and confirm pairing when the device indicates a successful connection.
Wearing the Headphones
Separate the headphones with both hands and position them comfortably. The sound-transmitting parts should rest in front of your ears, not inside the ear canal. Proper fit ensures comfort and optimal sound.
Volume Control
Note: Volume adjustment requires audio playback.
During audio playback, use the Volume + and Volume - buttons to adjust the headphone volume. Shokz provides an audible alert at maximum volume to protect your hearing. Listening at excessive volumes may damage your hearing and distort sound.

Switch Prompt Tone Language | In pairing mode (red and blue lights flashing alternately), double press the multifunction button. |
*Call functions apply only to phone calls, not third-party voice or video calls. You can also customize some button functions using the Shokz App.
Bluetooth/MP3 Mode Switching
Simultaneously press and hold the Power/Volume + and Volume - buttons for 2 seconds. The headphones will announce the corresponding mode. Release the buttons to switch to the announced mode.
*You can also use the Shokz App for convenient mode switching and to customize the mode switch button definition.
Transferring Files
- Connect the OpenSwim Pro to your computer using the provided magnetic charging cable.
- A drive named "SWIM PRO" will appear on your computer. Open this drive.
- Import audio files (songs, audiobooks, or folders) into the "SWIM PRO" drive.
- Safely eject the "SWIM PRO" drive from your computer after file transfer is complete.
*Do not forcibly interrupt the file transfer process, as it may damage the product.

Switching Music Playback Order
In MP3 mode, simultaneously press and hold the Multifunction button and the Power/Volume + button for 2 seconds. The headphones will announce the playback order. Release the buttons to switch.
*You can also use the Shokz App for convenient switching of music playback order.
Checking Battery Level
Note: This operation should be performed when the headphones are in standby mode with no audio playing.
In Bluetooth mode, while the headphones are in standby, single press the Power/Volume + or Volume - button. The headphones will announce the battery level.
EQ Mode Description
Bluetooth Mode:
- Standard EQ: Balanced frequency response, suitable for listening to music.
- Vocal EQ: Enhances mid-frequency, suitable for listening to broadcasts, audiobooks, etc.
MP3 Mode:
- Standard EQ: Balanced frequency response, suitable for non-underwater scenarios.
- Swimming EQ: Specifically tuned for swimming. Recommended for use during swimming, ideally with earplugs.
EQ Mode Switching
Note: This operation requires audio playback.
Ensure audio is playing. Long press the Volume - button for 2 seconds. The headphones will announce the EQ mode. Release the button to switch.
*You can also use the Shokz App for convenient EQ mode switching.
Dual Device Connection
Your OpenSwim Pro can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between devices for multitasking.
To connect two devices:
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Long press the Power/Volume + button until the red and blue lights flash alternately (pairing mode).
- Simultaneously press and hold the Multifunction button and the Power/Volume + button until the headphones emit a prompt tone.
- Device 1: Open the Bluetooth pairing list on the first device and select "OpenSwim Pro by Shokz" to connect. Pairing is complete when the first device indicates a successful connection. Power off the headphones.
- Device 2: Re-enter pairing mode. Open the Bluetooth pairing list on the second device and select "OpenSwim Pro by Shokz" to connect. Pairing is complete when the second device indicates a successful connection. Power off the headphones.
- Turn on the headphones by long-pressing the Power/Volume + button. The headphones will automatically connect to both devices.

Disabling Dual Device Connection
Note: This operation must be performed when the headphones are powered off.
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Long press the Power/Volume + button until the red and blue lights flash alternately (pairing mode).
- Simultaneously press and hold the Multifunction button and the Volume - button until the headphones emit a prompt tone.
*You can also manage dual device connections conveniently using the Shokz App.
Prompt Tone Language Switching
The headphones have built-in prompt tones in four languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Long press the Power/Volume + button until the red and blue lights flash alternately (pairing mode).
- Double press the Multifunction button. You will hear a prompt tone indicating the language has switched. The switching order is: English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
- Single press the Power/Volume + or Volume - button to listen to the battery level announcement and confirm the language switch.
*You can also switch the prompt tone language conveniently using the Shokz App.
Restoring Factory Settings
Note: This operation must be performed when the headphones are powered off.
- Ensure the headphones are powered off.
- Long press the Power/Volume + button until the red and blue lights flash alternately (pairing mode).
- Long press the Multifunction button, Volume - button, and Volume + button simultaneously until you hear a prompt tone.
- Power off the headphones. The OpenSwim Pro has been reset and requires re-pairing.
*Audio files already imported into MP3 mode will not be deleted during a factory reset.
Charging Instructions
When the battery is low, the headphones will prompt "Please charge," and the red indicator light will flash intermittently. Connect the included charging cable to charge.
- Charging: The LED indicator light turns red during charging. The headphones will automatically power off.
- Charging Complete: The LED indicator light turns blue when charging is complete.
Note:
- In MP3 mode, the headphones will automatically turn off after 2 hours of standby.
- In Bluetooth mode, the headphones will automatically turn off after 6 hours of standby.
