Setting Up Solocam
Download the App and Set Up the Device
To set up your SoloCam, follow these steps:
- Download and install the eufy Security app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Sign up for a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your SoloCam to your account.
Mounting Solocam
Select a Location
The S220 SoloCam can be mounted on a wall. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle. For optimal performance, it is recommended to mount the camera 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above ground level. To maximize the solar panel's efficiency, select a spot that receives ample sunlight throughout the day.

Mount S220 SoloCam
The S220 SoloCam is suitable for mounting both indoors and outdoors.
- Loosen the mount cover by turning it counterclockwise and disassemble the mount.
- For hard surfaces (e.g., brick, concrete): Drill holes using a 15/64 in (6 mm) drill bit and insert the provided anchors. Skip this step for soft surfaces like wood.
- Firmly screw the base of the mount onto the wall. Reassemble the mount.
- Screw the SoloCam onto the mount. Ensure the solar panel is facing upwards towards the sky. Position the camera to achieve the desired view, using the live stream in the eufy Security app to guide placement.

Safety
The recommended operating temperature range for the device and accessories is -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F). Do not use the device in environments that exceed these temperatures unless specifically indicated as safe in the manual. Avoid exposing the device to direct sunshine or excessively wet conditions. For optimal performance, it is recommended to operate the device in an environment with temperatures between 5°C and 25°C, ensuring normal room temperature and good ventilation.

There is a risk of explosion if an incorrect battery type is used. Dispose of used batteries according to their instructions.
