Eufy Security SoloCam S220: App Operation Guide

This guide provides instructions on how to use the Eufy app for your Eufy Security SoloCam S220.

1. Installing the Eufy App

To begin, install the Eufy app on your iOS or Android device. You can find the app on the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices). If you already have an account for other Anker apps, you can use the same account to log in. Otherwise, please create a new account.

The app icon features a stylized 'e' symbol.

2. Account Registration

To register an account:

  1. Open the Eufy app and tap 'Register Account' on the login screen.
  2. Enter your email address and choose a password that meets the specified rules. You can tap the eye icon to reveal your password.
  3. Select your region. It is important to choose your actual region for data privacy and security.
  4. Read and agree to the terms and conditions, privacy policy, and data policy by checking the box. You can also opt-in to receive news and product updates.
  5. Tap 'Register Account' to complete the process.

After registration, you will receive an email to verify your account. Follow the instructions in the email, which typically involves clicking a link and entering a verification code. Once verified, return to the app and log in with your credentials.

3. Adding a Device

You can add your SoloCam S220 to the Eufy app either manually or by scanning a QR code.

3.1 Manual Addition

  1. Open the Eufy app and navigate to the 'Home' tab. Tap 'Add Device'.
  2. Select 'Battery Camera' from the list of device types.
  3. Choose 'SoloCam S220' from the available models.
  4. Select your connection method: 'Wi-Fi Router' or 'HomeBase'. Note: Connecting to HomeBase requires purchasing a separate HomeBase S380.

3.2 QR Code Addition

  1. Open the Eufy app and tap 'Add Device' on the 'Home' tab, or tap the '+' icon in the top right corner.
  2. Tap the QR code scanning icon in the top right.
  3. Point the camera at the QR code located on the device's body (top or bottom) or on the accompanying documentation.

3.3 Wi-Fi Setup

  1. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  2. Tap 'Next'.

3.4 Pairing the Camera

  1. Press and hold the 'SYNC' button on the camera for 2 seconds until you hear a beep and the LED indicator flashes blue.
  2. The app will generate a QR code for Wi-Fi connection. Align your SoloCam with the QR code on your smartphone screen.
  3. Once the camera detects the QR code, you will hear two beeps. Tap the button in the app indicating the beeps were heard.
  4. The app will display 'Connecting...' and then 'Successfully Added' once the connection is complete. Tap 'Next' to proceed with detailed setup.

  4. You can reorder categories like 'Favorites', 'Security', and 'Care' by dragging the three-line handle next to each item. Tap 'Save' in the top right to confirm changes.

  1. Tap the icon in the top left corner of the home screen.
  2. Tap 'Customize Home Screen'.
  3. Tap 'Device Display Order'.
  4. Drag the three-line handle next to each device to rearrange their order. Tap 'Save' in the top right to confirm.

6.3 Adding to Favorites

You can add frequently used devices or scenes to your 'Favorites' for quick access.

  1. Tap 'Add to Favorites' on the home screen.
  2. Select the devices you want to add by checking the box next to them.
  3. Tap 'Save'. To remove a device from Favorites, uncheck the box and tap 'Save'.
