01 Parts Identification and LED Indicators

02 Adding a Device

Eufy Security App Installation

Download the Eufy Security app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).

Google, Google Play, and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.

Apple and the Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.

If you do not have an account for other Anker apps, please create an account and log in.

Adding Your Camera

1. Open the Eufy Security app.

2. Tap the 'Devices' tab.

3. Tap 'Add Device'.

4. Select the model of your camera (Indoor Cam or Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt).

Powering On and Connecting

1. Connect the camera to power. Wait until the LED indicator lights up blue, indicating it is ready for setup.

2. Use the Eufy Security app to scan the QR code located on the bottom of the camera.

3. If the QR code cannot be read, you can manually enter the setup code found on the bottom of the camera.

Completing Setup

1. Press and hold the SYNC / SETUP button on the camera for approximately 2 seconds until you hear a beep. The LED indicator should flash blue.

2. Follow the on-screen prompts in the app.

3. Once the camera is successfully added, you will see a 'Setup Complete' confirmation.

03 Camera Settings

Access camera settings by tapping on your camera in the 'My Devices' list within the Eufy Security app.

Motion Detection ?‍♂️

• Motion Detection ON/OFF: Enable or disable motion detection.
• Motion Detection Zone: Define specific areas within the camera's view to monitor for motion.
• Detection Targets: Choose what the camera should detect (e.g., Person ?‍♂️, Pet ?, Other).
• Sensitivity: Adjust the sensitivity level for motion detection.
• Motion Tracking ?: (Pan & Tilt models only) Enable automatic panning and tilting to follow detected motion.

Sound Detection ?

• Sound Detection ON/OFF: Enable or disable sound detection.
• Detection Type: Select the types of sounds to detect, such as 'Other sounds' or 'Crying'. This feature is particularly useful for detecting baby cries.
• Sensitivity: Adjust the sensitivity level for sound detection.

Two-Way Talk ??

• Two-Way Talk ON/OFF: Enable or disable the ability to speak through the camera.
• Motion Detection Zone: Define areas for motion detection that can trigger audio responses.
• Auto Response: Set up pre-recorded or custom voice messages that the camera can play automatically when motion is detected. You can select from pre-set messages or record your own.

Pan & Tilt Settings ?

• Rotation Speed: Adjust the camera's rotation speed across 5 levels, from slow to fast.
• Pan & Tilt Adjustment: Fine-tune the camera's position for optimal viewing angles.

Continuous Recording ?

• Recording Modes: Choose between 'Always' (24-hour recording) or 'Schedule' (recording based on a set timetable).
• Schedule: Configure specific times and days for recording to occur.

Video Quality ?

• Streaming Quality: Set the quality for live streaming (e.g., Auto).
• Recording Quality: Set the quality for recorded footage (e.g., Full HD 1080P).

Audio Settings ?

• Microphone: Toggle the camera's microphone ON/OFF.
• Recording: Enable or disable audio recording along with video.
• Speaker: Toggle the camera's speaker ON/OFF and adjust the volume level.

Notification Settings ?

• Detection Triggers: Select which events (e.g., Person ?‍♂️, Pet ?, Crying ?, Other sounds) should trigger notifications.
• Interval: Set the time interval (in minutes) between consecutive notifications.
• Notification Content: Choose the format of notifications: 'Text only', 'Text priority' (text first, then thumbnail if available), or 'Text & Thumbnail' (text and thumbnail simultaneously if available).

Storage Settings ?

• Storage Options: Configure where recordings are saved. Supports microSD cards (local storage) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) via RTSP.

Mounting Guide ↩️

• Image Rotation: Toggle the 'Flip Image 180°' option to invert the camera's view. This is useful when mounting the camera upside down, such as on a ceiling.
• Installation Guidelines: Access detailed instructions for mounting the camera.

Device Sharing ?

Share access to your camera with family and friends through the Eufy Security app.

1. Go to Camera Settings > Device Sharing.

2. Tap 'Add Member'.

3. Select the permission level for the new user: 'Administrator' (allows viewing and modification) or 'Guest' (allows viewing only). Both require the user to have the Eufy Security app installed.

4. Select the device(s) you wish to share.

5. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.

6. Tap 'Send' to send the invitation.

04 Live Streaming Operations

Tap the play button ▶️ on the camera's preview in the 'My Devices' list to start live streaming.

Live Stream Controls:

• Record ?: Start recording the live stream.
• Screenshot ?: Capture a still image of the live stream.
• Talk ?: Press and hold to speak through the camera's speaker.
• 360° Patrol ?: (Pan & Tilt models) Initiate automatic 360° rotation to monitor the surroundings.
• Sound ON/OFF: Toggle the camera's microphone ON/OFF.

Live Stream Commands:

• Event: Navigate to the Event page.
• Auto Night Mode ?: Automatically switches to night vision when the environment becomes dark.
• Alarm ?: Activate an audible alarm from the camera.
• Tracking ?‍♂️: The camera will pan and tilt to follow detected motion.
• Adjustment ⚙️: Access settings for automatic pan and tilt adjustments.

05 Event Search ?

View recorded events and footage in the 'Event' tab of the Eufy Security app.

You can filter events by date, device, and video type (e.g., Person ?‍♂️, Pet ?, Crying ?) to easily find specific recordings.

06 Security Mode Settings ?️

Configure different security modes to automate camera actions based on your presence or specific conditions.

Security Modes:

• Home: Activate when you are at home.
• Away: Activate when you are away from home.
• Disarmed: Disables all detection and notifications.
• Geofencing (Beta): Automatically manages modes based on your location.

For each mode, you can customize actions such as recording video ?, sending push notifications ?, and activating the camera alarm ?.

Schedule Mode ⏰

Set up a schedule for your security modes to automatically switch at specific times and days. Tap the '+' button to add a new schedule, define the mode, set the start and end times, and select the days of the week for the schedule to repeat.

Customize Mode

Create your own custom security modes. You can name the mode, select an icon, define detection triggers (motion/sound), and specify the actions to be taken (e.g., record video, send push notification, activate camera alarm).
