Important Safety Instructions
General Safety:
- Regularly check the cord, transformer, and all other parts for damage. If any part is damaged, the product should not be used.
- Keep these instructions for future use.
- Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
- This product is not intended for children due to the content of electrical components. IKEA recommends that only adults should handle the recharging.
- Regularly examine for damage of cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. In the event of such damage, the product must not be used with the charger.
- Only to be supplied at SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage).
Product Description and Features
The EKFÄNN is a wall-mounted mirror with an integrated, adjustable LED light. It is designed for bathroom installation.

Installation
Mounting the Mirror:
- Ensure the wall material is suitable for the chosen screws and plugs.
- Attach the mirror to the wall using appropriate fittings. [Diagram shows mounting bracket and screws]
Installing Batteries:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the base of the mirror. [Diagram shows opening the cover]
- Insert 3 x AA batteries, observing correct polarity. [Diagram shows battery insertion with '+' and '-' symbols]
- Close the battery compartment cover. [Diagram shows closing the cover]
- Note: Batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends LADDA rechargeable batteries HR06 AA 1.2V.
Operation and Charging
Charging the Product:
- Connect a USB-C cable and a USB charger (minimum 5V DC, 1A, SELV) to the port on the base of the mirror. [Diagram shows USB-C connection]
- The product may only be charged indoors.
Battery Level Indicator:
- The LED light on the mirror's base indicates the battery level:
- Flashing Green Light: Charging in progress.
- Steady Green Light: Charging complete.
- Flashing Red Light: Low battery.
Light Control:
- On/Off & Brightness: Press and hold the touch control for approximately 2 seconds to turn the light on or off. A short press cycles through brightness levels. [Diagram shows touch control and brightness adjustment]
- Color Temperature: Multiple short presses of the touch control cycle through different color temperatures (2700K, 4000K, 6500K). [Diagram shows color temperature selection]
Arm Adjustment:
- The flexible arm allows you to position the mirror. Adjust the arm by gently bending it to the desired position. [Diagrams show arm movement]
