Installation Instructions
Note: Installation is best performed when the temperature is 70 degrees F. or warmer, as temperature affects adhesive Velcro. If installing in cooler weather, store adhesive Velcro at room temperature beforehand.
-
Step 1: Preparation
Read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the Kawasaki 16Teryx 4 Top Cap.
-
Step 2: Unpacking
Carefully open the carton and remove the rolled-up Top Cap. Lay it out on a large, flat surface that is clean and free of dirt.
-
Step 3: Parts Check
Verify the included parts against the list below:
- Adhesive Hook strips: 7 each (6" long)
- Webbing straps with Velcro: 4 each
- Webbing straps with Grommet: 2 each
- Top Cap: 1 each
-
Step 4: Initial Placement and Attachment
Place the Top Cap over the roll cage of the Teryx 4. On the front and rear of the roll cage, wrap one adhesive hook strip around the bar, approximately 6-10 inches from where the top will sit. Wrap the double-sided Velcro sewn to the ends of the webbing straps around these adhesive hook strips, ensuring the webbing strap points upwards towards the top.
-
Step 5: Securing Straps
Lace the straps through the buckles sewn to the corners of the Top Cap. [Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates how to lace a strap through a buckle. The strap is shown passing through the buckle opening and then being pulled back towards itself.]
-
Step 6: Final Attachment
Wrap the roll cage with the double-sided Velcro strip with a snap around the middle bar to align with the snap on the Top Cap. Install the double-sided Velcro with snap as described previously. Then, snap the two together. [Photo Description: Two photos show the attachment mechanism. The first photo shows a strap with Velcro wrapped around a roll cage bar. The second photo shows a snap fastener on the Top Cap aligning with a corresponding snap on the strap.]
Cleaning and Storage Recommendations
-
Cleaning
Before removing the Falcon Ridge Cab for storage, ensure it is very clean to prevent scratching the window panels. Clean using a soft rag or sponge with a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag. Allow the Cab to dry thoroughly before attempting to roll it for storage.
-
Storage
It is important to roll the Cab for storage rather than folding, as folding can damage the windows. Carefully roll the Cab similarly to how it was packed at the factory. On a large, clean, and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first. Then, interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Place the rolled Cab back into the carton for storage at a normal room temperature. Avoid exposing the Cab to extreme hot or cold temperatures during storage.
-
Accessories
A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge to increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. Additional hook and loop sets can also be ordered if needed.
Return Policy
Products must be returned within 30 days of receipt. To receive a full refund, the product MUST be packaged exactly as it was originally packaged from the factory.
- Vinyl windows should never be folded when packaging for storage. Lay them flat, one on top of the other, with the canvas folded in between and paper (if available) on both sides.

- To initiate a return, call Falcon Ridge at 606-845-7439 to obtain a return authorization number. Use the preferred shipping carrier (UPS) unless the item is defective (in which case the customer is responsible for shipping costs).
- Returns submitted without a return authorization number will incur a 20% restocking fee.
- If the item was purchased from a Falcon Ridge distributor, contact the distributor first to understand their return policy.
- Upon arrival at Falcon Ridge's production facility, the customer satisfaction team will inspect the item to ensure it is unused and in factory-new condition.
- NOTE: All windshields must be returned with the original protective film intact. Refund/replacement of a windshield will only be processed if the protective film is present or if the windshield is defective.
- Items must be properly packaged in the original shipping carton to protect them during transit and ensure they arrive in new, resalable condition. Used, altered, or damaged items are not eligible for refund.
- All contents, including instruction manuals, accessories, hardware, and Velcro, must be included in the return shipment.
