General Installation Instructions

1. Read these instructions thoroughly before opening and installing the Kawasaki Pro FXT Soft Door Kit. Installation is best done when the temperature is 70 degrees F. or warmer. If conditions prevent installing in warmer weather, store the adhesive Velcro at room temperature prior to installation.
2. Carefully open the carton and remove the enclosure on a large, clean, and flat surface free of dirt.
3. Check over the parts included in the carton with the parts list below.

Parts List:

The cab will be assembled using the following parts: 1 Front Door, 3 Rear Doors.

Note: It is recommended to remove the hard top before installing the enclosure.

FRONT DOORS

1. Begin by installing the front doors. If possible, have someone hold the door in place. Mark the location of each Velcro strip sewn along the top and front edges of the door. Apply the supplied 3" adhesive Velcro strips around the roll cage at the marked locations. Place the door back onto the vehicle and wrap the double-sided Velcro around the adhesive Velcro.
2. The rear edge of the front door also has double-sided strips. For this, use the 45" adhesive strips. Apply them down the backside of the middle bar facing the rear of the vehicle. You may need to cut the adhesive strip to place part of it above and below the mount for the bar.
3. Diagrams illustrate the attachment method:
   • One diagram shows a 3" adhesive Velcro strip applied to a roll cage tube, with a double-sided Velcro strap on an enclosure panel attaching to it.
   • Another diagram shows a similar attachment from a different angle.
4. The front bottom corner of the door is secured by two 8" adhesive Velcro strips. Ensure proper placement.
5. The bottom of the door has two snaps that attach to the inside of the door. To ensure proper placement, first snap the studs into the sockets on the soft door. Then, zip the door shut and push the end of the screw into the plastic body to leave a mark. Remove the snap stud and screw it into the marked location on the inside of the door.

REAR DOORS

1. The rear doors attach similarly to the front doors. The front edge of the rear door attaches to the Velcro strip sewn down the rear edge of the front door. The top and rear edges use double-sided Velcro strips that wrap around the roll cage.

Cleaning and Storage Recommendations

1. Before removing the Falcon Ridge Cab for storage, ensure it is very clean to prevent scratching the window panels. Clean with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Do not rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag. Allow the Cab to dry thoroughly before attempting to roll it for storage.
2. It is important to roll the Cab for storage rather than folding it, as folding can damage the windows. Carefully roll up the Cab similarly to how it was packed at the factory. On a large, clean, and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Store the rolled Cab back into the carton at a normal room temperature. Avoid exposing the Cab to extreme hot or cold temperatures during storage.
3. A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge to increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. Additional hook and loop sets can also be ordered if needed.
