Introduction
This guide will help you set up your INSTEON Starter Kit, connect your devices, and begin automating your home.

Hub Overview
INSTEON Hub
The INSTEON Hub is the central controller for your smart home system.

Setup Your Kit
Step 1: Connect the Hub
Connect the Hub to power and your internet router using only the cables provided.

Note: Avoid power strips and switched outlets.
App Installation and Setup
Step 2: Download and Install the App
Download and install the latest INSTEON for Hub App from your device's app store.

Scan the QR Code and tap your store.
Step 3: Create an Account
Connect to the same network as the INSTEON Hub and launch the App. Create a new account.

Add Devices
Add Dimmer Modules
Follow the on-screen instructions to add your Dimmer Modules.

Remote Access
Control Your Home From Anywhere
You can monitor and control your devices when away if you setup Remote Access. Go to Settings > House > Remote Access Guide to configure port forwarding.

Create a Schedule
Automate Your Devices
Schedules can be set for individual devices or entire scenes. Go to Settings and tap Schedules.
