Insteon Comfort Kit Quick Start Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up your Insteon Comfort Kit.
Getting Started with Your Insteon Starter Kit
The Insteon Starter Kit includes the Insteon Hub, the central controller for your smart home devices.
Insteon Hub Components:
- Status LED: Indicates the operational state of the Hub.
- ? Green LED: Idle / Linking (En veille/jumelage)
- ? Red LED: Unlinking (Annulation du jumelage)
- Factory Reset: Button to reset the Hub to default settings (Réinitialisation des réglages par défaut).
- Power: Input for power connection (Mise en/hors fonction).
- Ethernet Port: For connecting to your internet router (Port Ethernet).
Included cables: Ethernet Cable, Power Cable.
Setup Your Kit (Installation de votre trousse)
Step 1: Connect the Hub
Connect the Hub to a power outlet and your internet router using the provided cables. Ensure you use a direct power outlet and avoid power strips or switched outlets.

Step 2: Download the Insteon App
Download and install the latest "Insteon for Hub" app from your device's app store.

Step 3: Create an Account
Connect your device to the same network as the Insteon Hub. Launch the Insteon app and create a new account.

Step 4: Add Devices
Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your Insteon devices.

Insteon Devices
The Insteon system supports various devices to enhance your home automation.
Dimmer Module (Module gradateur)
Control lighting with the Insteon Dimmer Module.
- Status LED: Indicates operational status.
- ? On (En fonction)
- ? Off (Hors fonction)
- Controls:
- Brighten (Illumination en fonction)
- Dim (Atténuation hors fonction)
- Set Button (Bouton de réglage)
Supports up to 300W maximum load.

Thermostat (Thermostat)
Manage your home's climate with the Insteon Thermostat.
- Controls:
- Temperature Adjust (Réglage de la température)
- Mode (Mode)
- Set Button (Bouton de réglage)
- Status LED: Indicates operational status.
The display shows the current temperature (e.g., 72°).

Remote Access
Monitor and control your Insteon devices remotely from anywhere.

Create a Schedule
Set schedules for individual devices or entire scenes to automate your home. Access this feature via Settings and tap Schedules.

Add More Control
Expand your Insteon system by adding more devices, from light switches and pool pumps to smart plugs and cameras.
