INSTEON Hub Overview
The INSTEON Hub is the central component of your smart home system. It features:
- Status LED: Indicates the Hub's operational state (Idle: blue, On: green, Off: red).
- Ethernet Port: For connecting to your internet router.
- Power Port: For connecting the power adapter.
- Factory Reset Button: Used for resetting the Hub to its default settings.
- Cables: Includes an Ethernet Cable and a Power Cable.
Step 1: Setup Your Hub
Connect the INSTEON Hub to power and your internet router using only the provided cables. Ensure a direct connection to a wall outlet, avoiding power strips and switched outlets.

Step 2: Download the INSTEON for Hub App
Download and install the latest INSTEON for Hub App from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon App Store.

Step 3: Connect and Create Account
Join the same Wi-Fi network to which the INSTEON Hub is connected. Launch the INSTEON for Hub App and create a new account or log in to an existing one.

Remote Access
You can monitor and control your devices when away by setting up Remote Access. This feature allows you to view your IP Camera from anywhere in the world.

Step 4: Add Devices
Follow the on-screen instructions within the INSTEON for Hub App to add your INSTEON devices. Quick Start Guides are included for your convenience.

Advanced Features
Create a Schedule
Schedules can be set for individual devices or entire scenes. Navigate to the device or scene properties and tap 'Schedule'.

Configure Alerts
Receive an email (✉️) or text message (?) alert every time a sensor or device is activated. Enable alerts by visiting the device properties and tapping 'Alerts'.

Trigger a Scene
Sensors can activate scenes. To set up a trigger, simply add a sensor to a scene.
