Important Safety Precautions
[Warning] Special attention should be paid when using this test and measurement instrument, as improper usage may cause electric shock and damage the equipment.
- Use proper measurement category (CAT), voltage, and amperage rated probes, test leads, and adapters for the measurement.
- Do not use or store the device around explosive gas, vapor, or under high temperature and humidity.
- When handling test probes and crocodile clips, keep your fingers behind the physical guard.
- Examine the measuring test leads before use. If any part of the insulation is deteriorated (even partially), replace them with proper functional test leads.
- Connect the common test lead before the live test lead, and remove the live test lead before the common test lead.
- Before measuring current, ensure the instrument has available fuses and disconnect the power supply to the circuit being tested.
- Remove batteries if the device is not used for an extended period or if stored in temperatures above 45 °C to prevent damage from battery leakage.

Operating Modes
Auto Mode
In Auto mode, the meter automatically selects the appropriate range and measurement type.
- Connect the test probes to the DUT (Device Under Test) terminals: [DUT+] and [DUT-]. Ensure the [GROUND] terminal is also connected if applicable.
- Press the [FUNC] button to select the measurement function (L, C, R).
- Press the [FREQ] button to set the test frequency.
- The display will show the measured value (e.g., 25.01 kΩ) and its quality factor (D/Q) (e.g., 3.02 %).
Single Mode
In Single mode, you manually select the measurement type and range.
- Connect the test probes to the DUT terminals: [DUT+] and [DUT-]. Ensure the [GROUND] terminal is also connected if applicable.
- Select the desired measurement type (L, C, R, DCR) using the appropriate function selector.
- Press the [FUNC] button to select the measurement function.
- Press the [FREQ] button to set the test frequency.
- Press the [ENTER] button to initiate the measurement.
- The display will show the measured value (e.g., 25.01 kΩ) and its quality factor (D/Q) (e.g., 3.02 %).
Deviation Proportion Mode
This mode measures the deviation of a component's value from a stored reference value.
- Connect the test probes to the DUT terminals: [DUT+] and [DUT-]. Ensure the [GROUND] terminal is also connected if applicable.
- Select the desired measurement type.
- Press the [FUNC] button.
- Set a reference value using the [DREF] function.
- Press the [REL/%] button to activate deviation measurement.
- The display will show the measured value and its percentage deviation from the reference, calculated as:
REL% = (DCUR - DREF) / DREF * 100%
