Assembly Instructions
⚠️ Safety First: Preventing Furniture Tipover
Children have died from furniture tipover. To reduce the risk of furniture tipover:
- ALWAYS install the provided anti-tip device.
- NEVER put a TV on this product.
- NEVER allow children to stand, climb, or hang on any drawers, doors, or shelves.
- NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
- DO NOT defeat or remove the drawer interlock system; it is an important stability and safety system.
- Place heaviest items in the lowest drawers.
Tools and Hardware
The following tools and hardware are required for assembly. Quantities are indicated in the assembly steps.
Tools:
- Screwdrivers (Phillips head) ?
- Hammer ?
- Drill ड्रिल
- Drill bits: Ø 5/16" (8 mm) and Ø 1/8" (3 mm)
Hardware Overview:
Refer to the diagrams for visual identification of parts. Key components include:
- Screws (various types and sizes, e.g., 146114, 105248, 109572, 100823, 145718) ?
- Cam Locks (e.g., 119252, 120076)
- Dowels (e.g., 118331, 101345)
- Brackets (e.g., 106989, 102553)
- Handles (e.g., 158568, 10101849)
- Drawer Slides (e.g., 10102026)
- Wall Plugs (e.g., 10087223)
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Attach Drawer Slides to Base Panels
Take the two base panels. Attach the drawer slides (part 10102026, labeled CL and CR) to the designated positions on the inside of the base panels using 30 screws (part 146114) for each panel. Ensure the slides are oriented correctly as shown in the diagram.
Step 2: Attach Side Panels to Base
Connect the side panels to the assembled base. Align the pre-drilled holes and secure them. This step may involve dowels or screws depending on the specific design.
Step 3: Insert Dowels
Insert dowels (part 118331) into the corresponding holes on the panels as indicated.
Step 4: Prepare for Wall Mounting Bracket
Assemble the components for the anti-tip wall mounting bracket. This involves parts like 100823, 109049, and 106989. Attach these to the furniture as shown.
Step 5: Insert More Dowels
Insert dowels (part 101345) into the designated holes on the panels.
Step 6 & 7: Attach Back Panels
Slide or attach the back panels into the grooves or designated areas of the furniture frame. Ensure they are seated correctly.
Step 8: Secure Panels with Cam Locks
Insert cam locks (part 119252) into the large holes on the connecting panels. Use a screwdriver to turn the cam locks clockwise to secure the panels together. The arrow on the cam lock should point towards the connecting bolt.
Step 9: Continue Panel Assembly
Continue assembling the main structure of the unit by connecting more panels. Follow the diagram to ensure correct alignment.
Step 10: Secure with Cam Locks
Insert and turn cam locks (part 119252) to secure the newly attached panels.
Step 11: Attach Support Bracket
Attach the support bracket (part 102553) to the designated location using screws (part 105248).
Step 12: Attach Side Panels
Attach the remaining side panels using screws (part 105248).
Step 13: Attach Handles
Attach the handles (parts 158568 and 10101849) to the drawer fronts or doors using the provided screws.
Step 14 & 15: Insert Back Panels
Insert the remaining back panels into the unit. Secure them as shown.
Step 16: Install Shelf Supports
Insert shelf supports (part 101345) into the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the unit for the shelves.
Step 17: Install More Shelf Supports
Insert shelf supports (part 118331) into the pre-drilled holes.
Step 18 & 19: Attach Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled unit. Secure it using cam locks (part 119252) by inserting them and turning clockwise with a screwdriver.
Step 20: Attach Drawer Runner Guides
Attach the drawer runner guides (parts 10093081 and 10093082) to the inside of the unit where the drawers will be installed.
Step 21: Attach Anti-Tip Device Bracket to Furniture
Attach the anti-tip device bracket (part 106989) to the top rear edge of the furniture using screws (part 109572).
Step 22: Adjust Anti-Tip Device
Adjust the anti-tip device bracket as shown to ensure it is properly positioned for wall attachment.
Step 23 & 24: Wall Mounting Instructions
For solid walls (A): Drill a hole using a Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit. Insert a wall plug (part 10087223). Screw the bracket into the plug. The screw length should be approximately 2 3/4" (70 mm).
For hollow walls (B): Drill a hole using a Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit. Insert a wall plug (part 10087223). Screw the bracket into the plug. The screw length should be approximately 1 1/4" (30 mm).
For solid wood (C): Use the screw (part 109572) directly into the wood without a wall plug. The screw length should be approximately 1 1/4" (30 mm).
If you are uncertain about your wall type, seek professional advice. Ensure the anti-tip device is securely fastened to both the furniture and the wall.
Step 25 & 26: Secure Anti-Tip Device
Further secure the anti-tip device to the furniture using screws (parts 109572 and 100823) as shown. Ensure all connections are tight.
Step 27: Install Shelf Supports
Insert shelf supports (part 118331) into the pre-drilled holes for the shelves.
Step 28: Insert Dowels
Insert dowels (part 101345) into the designated holes.
Step 29 & 30: Assemble Drawer Sides and Base
Assemble the drawer sides and base. Insert cam locks (part 120076) and turn them clockwise with a screwdriver to secure the drawer components.
Step 31: Attach Drawer Back Panel
Attach the back panel to the assembled drawer structure.
Step 32: Attach Drawer Top Panel
Place the top panel of the drawer onto the assembled drawer structure. Secure it as shown.
Step 33: Secure Drawer with Cam Locks and Screws
Secure the drawer assembly using cam locks (part 120076) and screws (part 145718) as indicated.
Step 34: Attach Drawer Slides to Drawer Box
Attach the drawer slides to the assembled drawer box using 6 screws (part 146114). Ensure correct alignment and orientation.
Step 35: Insert Drawers
Carefully slide the assembled drawers into the main unit. Ensure they move smoothly.
Step 36: Final Check
Check that all drawers open and close correctly and that the unit is stable.
