Check the VESA Pattern of Your TV Before You Begin the Installation

Ensure your TV's VESA mounting pattern is compatible with the monitor arm.

Diagram: Shows VESA mounting hole patterns with dimensions. The patterns illustrated are 75mm x 75mm, 100mm x 100mm, and 200mm x 200mm, with approximate inch equivalents: 75 mm ≈ 3", 100 mm ≈ 4", 200 mm ≈ 8".

Minimum VESA pattern: 75mm/3" (Width) x 75mm/3" (Height).

If your TV VESA is greater than 200 x 200mm (8" x 8") or less than VESA 75 x 75mm (3" x 3"), this mount is NOT compatible.

If this mount is NOT compatible, please contact customer service at support@huanuo.com to find a compatible mount.

TENSION ADJUSTMENT SHOULD BE DONE ONLY AFTER MOUNT INSTALLATION

⚠️ Warning: Do not adjust tension without the monitor attached.

  1. Ensure the monitor has been attached to the mount.
  2. Read your monitor box or manual to find out the monitor's net weight.
  3. Ensure the net weight of the monitor (including accessories) is between 6.6~26.4 lbs (3-12 kg).

Diagram: Shows an adjustment indicator with a curved arrow. Clockwise rotation reduces tension (for less weight), and counter-clockwise rotation increases tension (for more weight).

⚠️ Warning!

2. Attach the Decorative Covers [K] to Arm Assembly [01]

Slide the decorative covers [K] onto the arm assembly [01] as shown.

Diagram: Shows the decorative covers [K] being attached to the arm assembly [01].

3. Secure the Monitor Brackets [02] to the Monitors

Select Monitor Bolts

Only one size of bolt will fit your monitor correctly. Verify adequate thread engagement.

Diagram: Shows examples of M4 and M6 bolts.

Bolt length: Verify adequate thread engagement with bolts or bolts/spacers combination. We recommend thread engagement by at least 5 turns.

Visual indicators: Shows incorrect bolt usage (too short, too long) with ❌, and correct usage with ✔️.

Option A: No Need to Attach Monitor Brackets [02] to Monitors

Step 3A-1: Attach Bolts to Monitor

Secure two bolts into the top VESA holes on the back of the monitor manually. The available VESA patterns are 3" (75mm) x 3" (75mm) and 4" (100mm) x 4" (100mm).

Diagram: Shows bolts being screwed into the VESA holes on the back of a monitor. Labels A/B/C indicate bolt options.

Step 3A-2: Spacing

Please keep about 0.2" (5mm) spacing left for the two bolts.

Diagram: Illustrates the spacing requirement between the two bolts.

Step 3A-3: Hang Monitor on Arm

Hang the monitor with the two bolts onto the arm assembly [01].

Diagram: Shows the monitor being hung onto the arm assembly [01].

Step 3A-4: Secure Monitor

Secure the monitor to the arm assembly [01] by screwing in the other 2 pcs bolts.

The tension is preset at 8.8-11 lb (4-5kg). After hanging the monitor to the mount, please release the monitor slowly to prevent it from falling suddenly.

Diagram: Shows the final tightening of the bolts securing the monitor to the arm.

Option B: Need to Attach Monitor Brackets [02] to Monitors

Step 3B-1: Attach Brackets to Monitor

Secure monitor brackets [02] to the monitor using 4 pcs bolts (A/B/C) manually. If necessary, the spacers [F] can be used. Compatible VESA patterns are 8" (200mm) x 4" (100mm) and 8" (200mm) x 8" (200mm).

Step 3B-4: Secure Monitor

Secure the monitor to the arm assembly [01] by tightening all four pcs bolts [D].

The tension is preset at 8.8-11 lb (4-5kg). After hanging the monitor to the mount, please release the monitor slowly to prevent it from falling suddenly.

Diagram: Shows the final tightening of the bolts securing the monitor and brackets to the arm.

4. Adjust Gas Spring Tension

Be sure to keep the arm in a horizontal position during adjustment. Otherwise, it would be difficult to adjust the mount or damage the mount.

  1. If the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself, no adjustment is needed.
  2. If the monitor rises up, press the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and then use the 5mm Allen key [J] to turn the bolt clockwise ("-" direction) to reduce tension of the arm until the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself.
  3. If the monitor falls down, lift the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and then use the 5mm Allen key [J] to turn the bolt counter-clockwise ("+" direction) to increase tension of the arm until the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself.

Diagram: Illustrates gas spring tension adjustment using the Allen key [J]. Shows the bolt being turned clockwise (-) to reduce tension and counter-clockwise (+) to increase tension. Notes that 1 rotation is approximately 1 lb of tension adjustment.

5. Route Cables along the Arm

  1. Loosen the preassembled bolt on the arm, and keep the bolt for the use in the next step.
  2. Pinch the cable clip to make it detach from the arm.
  3. Put the cables into the cable clip, then pinch the cable clip to make it attach to the arm.
  4. Then tighten the bolt to secure the cable clip to the arm.

Diagram sequence: Shows loosening a bolt, detaching a cable clip, placing cables into the clip, and reattaching the clip to the arm by tightening the bolt.

Adjustments

Tilt Adjustment

  1. Loosen the preassembled tilt bolt [T].
  2. Adjust your monitor to the desired tilt angle.
  3. Tighten the preassembled tilt bolt [T] until the monitor can stay at the desired tilt angle by itself.

Diagram: Shows the monitor arm's tilt mechanism and the location of the tilt bolt [T], with arrows indicating adjustment.

Swivel Adjustment

  1. Loosen the preassemble swivel bolt [S].
  2. Adjust your monitor to the desired swivel angle.
  3. Tighten the preassembled swivel bolt [S] until the monitor can stay at the desired swivel angle by itself.

Diagram: Shows the monitor arm's swivel mechanism and the location of the swivel bolt [S], with arrows indicating adjustment.

Note: Please do not over-tighten or over-loosen the bolts.
