3. Secure the Monitor Brackets [02] to the Monitors
Select Monitor Bolts
Only one size of bolt will fit your monitor correctly. Verify adequate thread engagement.
Diagram: Shows examples of M4 and M6 bolts.
Bolt length: Verify adequate thread engagement with bolts or bolts/spacers combination. We recommend thread engagement by at least 5 turns.
- Too short will not hold the Monitor.
- Too long will damage the Monitor.
Visual indicators: Shows incorrect bolt usage (too short, too long) with ❌, and correct usage with ✔️.
Option A: No Need to Attach Monitor Brackets [02] to Monitors
Step 3A-1: Attach Bolts to Monitor
Secure two bolts into the top VESA holes on the back of the monitor manually. The available VESA patterns are 3" (75mm) x 3" (75mm) and 4" (100mm) x 4" (100mm).

4. Adjust Gas Spring Tension
Be sure to keep the arm in a horizontal position during adjustment. Otherwise, it would be difficult to adjust the mount or damage the mount.
- If the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself, no adjustment is needed.
- If the monitor rises up, press the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and then use the 5mm Allen key [J] to turn the bolt clockwise ("-" direction) to reduce tension of the arm until the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself.
- If the monitor falls down, lift the arm to keep it in a horizontal position and then use the 5mm Allen key [J] to turn the bolt counter-clockwise ("+" direction) to increase tension of the arm until the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself.
Diagram: Illustrates gas spring tension adjustment using the Allen key [J]. Shows the bolt being turned clockwise (-) to reduce tension and counter-clockwise (+) to increase tension. Notes that 1 rotation is approximately 1 lb of tension adjustment.
5. Route Cables along the Arm
- Loosen the preassembled bolt on the arm, and keep the bolt for the use in the next step.
- Pinch the cable clip to make it detach from the arm.
- Put the cables into the cable clip, then pinch the cable clip to make it attach to the arm.
- Then tighten the bolt to secure the cable clip to the arm.
Diagram sequence: Shows loosening a bolt, detaching a cable clip, placing cables into the clip, and reattaching the clip to the arm by tightening the bolt.
Adjustments
Tilt Adjustment
- Loosen the preassembled tilt bolt [T].
- Adjust your monitor to the desired tilt angle.
- Tighten the preassembled tilt bolt [T] until the monitor can stay at the desired tilt angle by itself.
