Step 1 Install the Base
Option A: C-Clamp Installation
Attach the C-Clamp Brace [02] to the Pole [01] using Bolts [D3] and Small Allen Key [F2]. Then attach the C-Clamp [03] to the C-Clamp Brace [02] using Bolts [F3] and Small Allen Key [F2]. Insert the Locking Plate [b] into the C-Clamp [03]. Secure the Locking Plate [b] with Washer [E2] and Bolt [E1] using the Large Allen Key [F1]. Slide the Bottom Pad [c] onto the C-Clamp [03].
The diagram shows the C-Clamp [03] being attached to the desk, with the Locking Plate [b] inserted and secured. The desk thickness can range from 3/8 in (10mm) to 1 3/16 in (30mm), 1 3/16 in (30mm) to 2 11/64 in (55mm), or 2 11/64 in (55mm) to 3 5/32 in (80mm).
Option B: Grommet Installation
Insert the Grommet parts [03a, 03b] through the desk grommet hole. Attach the Pole [01] to the Grommet parts [03a, 03b] using the Locking Plate [b].
If there is no grommet hole on your desk, position the pole [01] on the mounting surface and mark the hole. Drill a hole using a drill bit in a diameter of 7/16 in - 55/64 in (11-22mm) at the marked position through the mounting surface.
Step 2 Secure Monitor Connector and Decorative Cover to Pole Assembly
Attach the Monitor Connector [04] to the top of the Pole Assembly. Secure it using the Large Allen Key [F1]. A decorative cover [a] is also attached.
Step 3 Choose the Combination that Applies to Your VESA Hole Pattern
Option A: No Need to Attach Extender Brackets [06] to Faceplate [05]
For VESA hole patterns: 3x3 in (75x75mm) and 4x4 in (100x100mm).
Option B: Need to Attach Extender Brackets [06] to Faceplate [05]
For VESA hole patterns: 8x8 in (200x200mm) and 8x4 in (200x100mm). Attach Extender Brackets [06] to the Faceplate [05] using Bolts [F4] and Nuts [F5]. A 3/8 in (10mm) Socket Wrench is needed.
Step 4 Attach Faceplate (or Faceplate with Extender Brackets) to the Back of Monitor
Attach the Faceplate [05] (or Faceplate with Extender Brackets [06]) to the back of the monitor using Bolts [A1/A2/B1/B2] and Washers [C1]. Spacers [C2] may be needed depending on the monitor's back panel. Use a Phillips Screwdriver (not included). Ensure the monitor is oriented UP correctly.
Step 5 Hang the Monitor to the Stand
HEAVY! You may need assistance with this step. Align the monitor's VESA mount with the Monitor Connector [04] on the stand and slide it down to secure. Use the Small Allen Key [F2] to tighten the safety bolt [F].
Step 6 Adjust the Tilt Angle and Manage the Cables
Tilt Adjustment
- If the monitors can stay at the desired height by itself, no adjustment needed.
- The tilt angle of the monitor will not be adjusted if the set screw [T] is over-tightened. In this case, you need to turn the set screw [T] in anti-clockwise direction to decrease torque until the monitors can be hovered at any position.
- The monitors will drop automatically if the set screw [T] is over-loosen. In this case, you need to turn the set screw [T] in clockwise direction to increase torque until the monitors can be hovered at any position.
Warning: To avoid tipping, please be careful not to extend the monitor too far backward. When you adjust the angle of the monitor, please make sure the monitor is balanced to avoid instability of the center of gravity of the base.
Use the provided cable ties (2X Cable tie) to manage cables.
