Installation Guide
Step 1: Install the Base
Choose your mounting method:
Option A: For C-Clamp Mounting
Diagram Description: Shows the C-clamp (02) attached to a desk edge. Bolts (likely M6 x 12mm [C]) are used with Allen key (F2) to secure the clamp. The pole assembly (03) is then attached to the clamp using a bolt and Allen key (F1). Suitable for desk thickness: 0.39-3.54" (10-90mm).
Additional diagrams show different orientations of the C-clamp securing to the desk.
Option B: For Grommet Mounting
Diagram Description: Shows the grommet bolt (D2) inserted through a desk and secured from below. Suitable for desk thickness: 0.39-3.54" (10-90mm).
CAUTION: Ensure the grommet bolt is screwed securely.
Diagram Description: If there is no grommet hole on the desk, you will need to drill one. Mark the desired location at least 2" (50mm) from the desk edge. Drill the hole using a 7/16-7/8" (11-22mm) drill bit. Tools required: Electric Drill (not included), Drill Bit (not included).
Step 2: Install the Arms
Diagram Description: Shows the extension arm (01) and compression arm (08) being attached to the pole assembly. The limit connector (07) and cable clip (05) are used. Allen keys [F3] and [F1] are shown.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten, as this may affect the rotation of the arms.
Diagram Description: Further illustration of connecting the arms to the pole assembly, securing the limit connector (07) firmly with Allen key [F1].
Step 3: Hang the Monitor on the Mount
Diagram Description: Shows how to grip the VESA plate and align it with the monitor's threaded inserts. The plate may need to be rotated like a steering wheel. The "UP" indicator on the plate should point upwards.
Hand thread bolts into the threaded inserts on the back of your monitor to determine which bolt (M4 x 16mm or M4 x 30mm) to use. A minimum of 4–5 turns into the threading is required. Do not turn past the bottom of the hole.
Diagram Description: Shows two options for bolt selection: M4 x 16mm or M4 x 30mm. Only one size fits the monitor.
Choose the bolt and spacer configuration that fits your monitor type.
Diagram Description: Shows configurations for Flat Back Monitor (using bolts [A] and possibly spacers [B-2]) and Curved Back Monitor (using bolts [B-1] and spacers [B-2]).
Thread in the top bolts, but do not screw in all the way yet.
Diagram Description: Shows hanging the monitor onto the VESA plate using the top slots or holes. Bottom bolts are then threaded in and tightened to secure the monitor.
NOTE: Gas spring tension is preset at 8.8–11 lbs (4–5kg).
After hanging the monitor on the mount, release the monitor slowly so that it doesn't sink down too quickly.
Diagram Description: Shows VESA hole pattern dimensions (75mm and 100mm).
Diagram Description: Warning: HEAVY! You may need assistance with this step. Illustration shows not to overtighten.
Step 4: Adjust Gas Spring Tension
Hold the upper arm in a horizontal position. In this position, you can access the gas spring tension bolt (F2) to increase or decrease tension so the arm stays in position by itself.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to monitor or mount, always keep the arm in a horizontal position while making adjustments. You may need assistance with this.
Use the largest Allen key (F2) to adjust gas spring tension until the arm stays in position by itself. Once correctly adjusted, you can raise and lower your monitor and it will stay in position.
Diagram Description: Shows the gas spring tension bolt (F2) on the arm.
Adjusting Tension:
- If the monitor falls below the desired height: Turn counter-clockwise (“+” direction) to increase gas spring tension until the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself.
- If the monitor rises up above the desired height: Turn clockwise (“–” direction) to reduce gas spring tension until the monitor can stay at the desired height by itself.
Step 5: Rotation Restriction
CAUTION: Do not position or swivel the monitor beyond the edge of the desktop. Doing so may cause the unit to tip over and fall.
Diagram Description: Shows the monitor arm with arrows indicating the allowed rotation range and a warning about tipping if extended too far.
Step 6: Monitor Rotation
Diagram Description: Shows the monitor being rotated 360° on the arm.
Step 7: Tilt Adjustment
Adjust your monitor by gripping the monitor edges (do not press on the screen itself). If it's difficult to adjust, loosen the tilt-lock bolt (F2) on the monitor plate connector. Adjust the monitor to the desired angle, then fully tighten the bolt again to lock the tilt angle.
Diagram Description: Close-up view of the tilt-lock bolt (F2) and the mechanism for adjusting the monitor tilt angle.
Step 8: Cable Management
Open one side of the upper cable cover. Route the cables along the arms. Lock the upper cable cover back into place.
Diagram Description: Shows routing cables through clips (05) on the pole and securing them with the cable cover (06) on the arm.
