Step 1: Install the Base
Note: For USB cable connection to the base, refer to Page 13.
For C-Clamp Mounting: Proceed to Option A.
For Grommet Mounting: Proceed to Option B.
Option A: For C-Clamp Mounting
Ensure your desk thickness is between 0.59"-3.54" (15-90mm).
Attach the C-Clamp Brace (02) to the Base (01) using Bolts (A) and the Medium Allen Key (E). Slide the assembled base onto the desk edge. Secure it using the C-Clamp (03), ensuring the clamp makes full contact with the desk or any necessary spacers.
Spacers: If your desktop is thin or has a crossbar, use a wood board or block as a spacer to ensure the C-clamp plate has full contact.
Option B: For Grommet Mounting
If your desk has a grommet hole, insert the Grommet Bolt (B) through the Base (01) and secure it with the Nut (C) from underneath. Ensure the grommet bolt is tightened securely.
If no grommet hole exists, mark a location at least 2" (50mm) from the desk edge and drill a hole using a 7/16"-7/8" (11-22mm) drill bit. Then, proceed with inserting the Grommet Bolt (B) and securing it.
Step 2: Attach the Arm Assembly to the Base
Connect the Lower Arm Section (04) to the Base (01). Ensure the cable cover on the lower arm faces down.
Connect the Upper Arm Section (05) to the Lower Arm Section (04).
Caution: Do not overtighten, as this may affect the rotation of the arms.
Use the Small Allen Key (F) to secure the connection.
Step 3: Hang the Monitors on the Mount
Choose the appropriate bolt (H or I) and spacer (J) configuration that fits your monitor's VESA holes. For flat-back monitors, use Bolts (H). For curved-back monitors, use Bolts (I) with Spacers (J).
Thread the top bolts into the monitor's VESA holes, but do not tighten completely.
Hang the monitor onto the VESA plate of the arm, aligning the top VESA slots or holes. Insert and tighten the bottom bolts to secure the monitor.
Note: You may need to grip the VESA plate like a steering wheel to rotate it.
Attention: HEAVY! You may need assistance with this step.
Use the Large Allen Key (G) to firmly tighten all bolts.
Note: The gas spring tension is preset for monitors weighing 4.4-11 lbs (2-5 kg). Release the monitor slowly after hanging to ensure it doesn't drop too quickly.
Step 4: Adjust Gas Spring Tension
Caution: To avoid damage to the monitor or mount, always keep the arm in a horizontal position while making adjustments. Assistance may be needed.
Hold the upper arm horizontally. Use the Large Allen Key (G) to adjust the gas spring tension bolt.
- If the monitor falls: Turn the bolt counter-clockwise ( '+' direction) to increase tension until the arm stays in position.
- If the monitor rises: Turn the bolt clockwise ( '-' direction) to decrease tension until the arm stays in position.
Once correctly adjusted, the arm should hold the monitor at any desired height.
Note: A QR code is provided in the original manual for an arm adjustment video.
Step 5: Swivel Restriction
Adjust the swivel restriction as needed by following the diagram.
Step 6: Tilt Adjustment
Adjust the monitor by gripping its edges. Do not press directly on the screen. If adjustment is difficult, loosen the tilt-lock bolt on the monitor plate connector. Adjust to the desired angle, then fully tighten the bolt.
Caution: Do not position or swivel the monitor beyond the edge of the desktop, as this may cause the unit to tip over.
Step 7: Monitor Rotation
Rotate the monitor to portrait or landscape orientation as desired by gripping the monitor edges.
Step 8: Route Cables Down the Arm
Securely route all monitor and power cables along the arm using the provided clips or channels. Use the Large Allen Key (G) to tighten the cable management covers.
Connecting USB Cables to the Base
Note: Female to Male USB Cables are not included.
- Remove the USB cable cover from the base.
- Snap off the two tabs on the cover.
- Route your USB cables (female end) through the base, connecting them to the male USB ports inside.
- Attach the cover back onto the base to secure the USB cables.
