- Frame Assembly: Insert the front tube of the right side Upper Frame Assembly into the Height Bracket. The front tube is distinguished by an array of holes on its backside. (Refer to Fig. 1b for visual).
- Repeat step 1 for the left side Upper Frame Assembly.
- Connecting Legs to Frame: Insert the legs into the ends of the front tube of both the right and left Upper Frame Assemblies. Legs are properly connected when the push buttons align with the holes on the frame ends. Ensure push buttons are engaged before use. (Refer to Fig. 3 for visual).
- Attaching Casters: Attach each caster to the high chair feet by inserting them firmly into the bottom of the legs until they snap into position. Check that all four casters are securely fastened. (Refer to Fig. 4 for visual).
Attaching and Operating the Tray
- Tray Attachment: Line up the grooves on the bottom of the tray with the armrests. Squeeze the tray's release handle and slide the tray onto the armrests. The tray has a 3-position adjustment. To adjust, squeeze the release handle located underneath the tray, reposition, and release the handle. Ensure the tray is securely locked. (Refer to Fig. 5a for visual). Do not leave the tray in a position where warning signs are visible (Refer to Fig. 5b for visual).
- Tray Insert: The dishwasher-safe tray insert clicks onto the high chair tray and is held by tabs. Ensure it clicks into place to prevent the child from removing it. To remove, pull the tabs. (Refer to Fig. 6a for visual).
- Tray Storage: The tray may be stored on the back legs of the high chair by aligning the holes in the rear of the tray with the small pegs on the back legs. (Refer to Fig. 6b for visual).
Using the Safety Belt
- Harness Adjustment: The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 2 attachment positions on the seat back. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the top of the child's shoulder. (Refer to Fig. 7a for visual).
- Securing the Child: Carefully place the child in the seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over the shoulders. (Refer to Fig. 7b for visual).
- Releasing the Child: Apply pressure to both sides of each male clip until the clip is released. This requires moderate effort to prevent accidental release by the child. (Refer to Fig. 8 for visual).
Adjusting the Seat
- Reclining the Seat: Squeeze the recline lever on the back of the seat and adjust to the preferred recline or upright position. Be careful not to catch the child's arms, hands, or legs. (Refer to Fig. 9 for visual).
- Adjusting Seat Height: Always check that the height adjustment bracket is level and both left and right sides are locked before placing the child in the high chair. Never rest the height adjustment bracket on the locking pins. Squeeze both left and right levers of the Height Adjustment Bracket and adjust to the ideal position. (Refer to Fig. 10 for visual).
Brakes
To engage brakes, apply downward pressure to the brake tabs. Check that the high chair will not move and that brakes are properly applied. To release, lift up on the brake tabs. (Refer to Fig. 11 for visual).
Folding the High Chair
- Place the seat in the desired height position and the seat back in the most upright position. (Refer to Fig. 12 for visual).
- Squeeze the tray release handle and slide the tray out. (Refer to Fig. 13 for visual).
- Hang the tray on the hooks located on the back of the rear leg. (Refer to Fig. 14 for visual).
- Lower the seat to its lowest position. Push the release buttons on the sides of the frame and push the rear legs towards the front legs until folded. DO NOT allow children to play around a folded high chair as it may fall. (Refer to Fig. 15 for visual).
To unfold, reverse the above steps.
Adjusting the Footrest
Press the buttons on both sides of the footrest to adjust it up or down. (Refer to Fig. 16 for visual).
Reattaching the Seat Pad
- Thread the non-buckle end of the Harness Straps (Harness Attachment Tabs) through the provided slots in the Seat Fabric, Seat Back, and Seat Base. Rotate the Harness Attachment Tabs 90 degrees once through the slots to ensure they are firmly in place. (Refer to Fig. 17a and 17b for visuals).
- Slide the pocket of the seat cover back over the curved back frame. Secure the seat sides by wrapping them around the frame and fastening plastic clips at each side of the seat. (Refer to Fig. 18a and 18b for visuals).
