The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within the first 180 days of purchase. Any product which has been subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration or accident, or has had its serial number altered or removed invalidates all claims against the manufacturer. Any damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user. The Customer Service Department can be contacted at 1 (800) 328-7363 Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm (PST). Return Authorizations are required prior to returning product(s) to Baby Trend®. Warranty only valid in North America.

Important Warnings
- ⚠️ WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions could result in serious injury or death.
- ⚠️ FALL HAZARD: Children have suffered severe head injuries including skull fractures when falling from high chairs. Falls can happen suddenly if child is not restrained properly. Always use restraints and adjust to fit snugly. The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair. Stay NEAR and watch child during use. NEVER allow child to push away from the table.
- ⚠️ STRANGULATION HAZARD: Do not place High Chair in any location where there are cords, such as window blind cords, drapes, or phone cords.
- ⚠️ WARNING: The child should be secured in the high chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system, whether in the reclining, semi-reclining, or upright position. The tray is not designed to hold the child. It is recommended that the high chair be used in the upright position only by children capable of sitting upright unassisted.
- Other accessory items may change the balance of the high chair and cause hazardous unstable conditions; use approved Baby Trend toys.
- Be certain the high chair is fully erect and latched in the open position before allowing the child near the high chair.
- Use of the high chair with a child weighing more than 40 pounds will cause excessive wear and stress.
- This high chair is designed for a child with a maximum weight of 40 pounds (18.14 kg).
- NEVER allow your high chair to be used as a toy.
- NEVER use this product if there are any loose or missing fasteners, loose joints, broken parts, or torn mesh/fabric. Check before assembly and periodically during use. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service at 1-800-328-7363 for replacement parts, repair, or instructions. NEVER substitute parts.
Assembly Instructions
IMPORTANT! To ensure safe operation of your product, please follow these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
IMPORTANT! Before assembly and each use, inspect this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.
IMPORTANT! Adult assembly is required.
IMPORTANT! Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.
ATTENTION: Carefully remove parts from the box. Check that you have all the parts for this model before assembling the high chair. NOTE: Certain High Chair models come with the Seat Fabric and Seat Insert already attached to the Seat Back.
To Assemble Seat
- Place the Seat Base on a flat surface. (Diagram shows Seat Base on a flat surface.)
- Join the Seat Back to the Seat Base using the Seat Back Hinge Rod. To install the hinge rod, press down on the hinge rod retainer and insert the rod into the hinge from right to left. (Diagrams illustrate attaching Seat Back to Seat Base with Hinge Rod.)
- Slide the left and right sides' Height Brackets onto the Seat Base. Lock the brackets in place. (Diagrams show sliding and locking Height Brackets.)
- Slide the Footrest onto the Seat Base. Lock Footrest into place. (Diagram shows Footrest attachment.)
- Insert the front tube of the right and left side Upper Frame Assemblies into the Height Adjuster. The front tube is distinguished by holes on its backside. (Diagram shows inserting Upper Frame Assemblies into Height Adjuster.)
- Squeeze the Release Handles on both sides simultaneously and push the tube through the Height Adjusters until it locks in the highest position. (Diagram shows adjusting height with Release Handles.)
- Insert the Legs into the ends of the front tube of both the right and left Upper Frame Assemblies. Legs are properly connected when lock buttons align with holes. Ensure lock buttons are engaged before use. (Diagrams show inserting front Legs and alignment of lock buttons.)
- Insert another Leg into the ends of the rear tube of both the right and left Upper Frame Assemblies. Legs are properly connected when lock buttons align with holes. Ensure lock buttons are engaged before use. (Diagrams show inserting rear Legs and alignment of lock buttons.)
- Attach each of the Casters to the high chair leg. Snap casters into the bottom of the leg. Check that all four Casters are securely fastened. (Diagram shows attaching Casters.)
To Attach and Operate Tray
WARNING: Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.
WARNING: The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair. The child must be secured at all times by the 5-point restraining system, whether reclining, semi-reclining, or upright.
To Attach Tray
- To attach the Tray, align the grooves on the bottom of the tray with the armrests of the high chair. Squeeze the Tray's release handle and slide the tray onto the armrests. The Tray has a 3-position adjustment. To adjust, squeeze the release handle located underneath the tray and reposition it. Release the handle and check that the Tray is securely locked. To Attach Tray Insert
- The dishwasher-safe food Tray Insert snaps onto the High Chair Tray and is held by tabs on the sides. Ensure it snaps into place to prevent removal by the child. To remove, unsnap the tabs.
- The Tray may be stored on the back legs of the High Chair. Align the holes in the rear of the tray with the pegs on the back legs. (Diagram shows tray storage.)
Operation Instructions
To Use Safety Belt
- WARNING: It is recommended that only children capable of sitting upright unassisted use the high chair in the upright position.
- WARNING: Prevent serious injury or death from falls or sliding out. Always use the restraint system. The child should be secured in the high chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system, whether reclining, semi-reclining, or upright.
The tray is not designed to hold the child. Stay near and watch the child during use. NEVER leave child unattended.
Using the Harness
- The 5-point harness shoulder straps have 2 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the top of the child's shoulder. (Diagrams show harness strap adjustment.)
- Carefully place the child in the seat and position the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over the child's shoulders. To Release Safety Belt
- Push the button on the Center Clasp; the two Harness Buckles will pop free. (Diagram shows releasing the harness buckle.)
Recline Seat
- Squeeze the recline lever on the back of the seat and adjust to the preferred recline or upright position. Use caution not to trap arms, hands, or fingers when adjusting. (Diagram shows seat recline adjustment.)
To Adjust Seat Height
- WARNING: Do not adjust seat height with child in seat. Adjust seat height before placing your child in the high chair.
- WARNING: Verify that the height adjustment bracket is level and both left and right sides are locked before placing child in the high chair.
- WARNING: The child should be secured in the high chair at all times by the 5-point restraining system, whether reclining, semi-reclining, or upright.
- WARNING: Never rest the height adjustment bracket on the locking pins.
- Squeeze the Release Handles on both sides simultaneously and adjust to the ideal position. DO NOT adjust with child in the seat. (Diagrams show height adjustment levers and positions.)
ATTENTION: Make sure the Height Brackets lock in the lowest position. DO NOT rest Height Adjustment Brackets on the Locking Pins.
Brakes
- To engage brakes, apply downward pressure to the brake tabs. Check that the High Chair will not move and that brakes are properly applied. To release, lift up on the brake tabs. (Diagram shows brake engagement.)
To Fold High Chair
The high chair may be folded with the seat in any height position.
- Place seat in the desired height position. Place Seat Back in the most upright position. (Diagram shows seat in upright position.)
- Squeeze the tray release handle and slide the tray out. (Diagram shows tray release and removal.)
- Hang the tray on the hooks located on the back of the rear leg. (Diagram shows tray hanging.)
- Pull upward on the release levers (on the sides of the frame) and push the rear legs toward the front legs until folded. The chair is now ready to put away. DO NOT allow your child to play around a folded high chair as it may fall. (Diagram shows folding mechanism.)
To Unfold High Chair
Read the warnings and refer to the folding diagram (Fig. 20), then reverse the steps above.
WARNING: Do not sit on the frame when the seat is not attached. Do not use the frame as a foot stool. Potential pinch point when opening the frame. DO NOT place fingers here.
To Reattach Seat Pad
- Thread the non-buckle end of the Harness Straps (Harness Attachment Tabs) through the provided slots in the Seat Fabric, Seat Insert, Seat Back, and Seat Base. Rotate the tabs 90 degrees once through the slots to ensure they are firmly in place. (Diagrams show threading harness straps through seat components.)
- Loop the flap on the back of the pad over the top of the Seat Back. Connect the Seat Pad to the Seat Back with the two Elastic Loops, which fit over the Attachment Tabs near the top harness slots. (Diagram shows attaching Seat Pad to Seat Back.)
- Attach the bottom of the Seat Pad to the Seat Base with the two Elastic loops located at the rear of the bottom of the Seat Pad. These fit over the Attachment Tabs on the Seat Base near where the Seat Back and Seat Base join. (Diagram shows attaching Seat Pad to Seat Base.)
Optional Seat Insert
- Set Seat Insert onto Seat Pad.
To Remove Seat Pad
Reverse the above steps.
Maintenance and Care
WARNING: Harness Straps and Basket are NOT washable.
Dishwasher Safe Tray Insert: The Tray Insert is dishwasher safe up to 160° F (71° C). Do not use scouring pads on the Tray Insert as they will damage the surface and make it harder to clean.
High Chair/Tray: Use mild soap and wash with a damp cloth after each use. Use only a soft bristle brush, sponge, or cloth to clean the surface or remove food particles. DO NOT submerge the High Chair and Tray in water; surface clean only.
Seat Pad: (Please refer to the care label on the seat pad for cleaning instructions.)
To remove the seat pad: Remove Harness Straps by pushing Harness Attachment Tabs through the harness slots on the Seat Back, Seat Base, and Seat Pad. Remove Elastic Loops from Attachment Tabs on the Seat Base and Seat Back.
To attach the seat pad: Carefully follow instructions in Step 21 to correctly re-thread the safety harness.
Non-Washable Seat Pad: Use mild soap and wipe with a damp cloth. NOT MACHINE WASHABLE. DO NOT PUT THE SEAT PAD ADJUSTER IN THE WASHING MACHINE.
Basket: NOTE: Some models include a basket under the seat for storage. These models come with the basket already attached. To remove: The basket is attached by four snaps; release these snaps. To attach: Feed snap strips around basket slots under the seat base. Press firmly on the four snaps.
