The Baby Trend® warranty covers workmanship defects within 1 year of purchase. Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number, invalidates all claims. Damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.

Important Safety Warnings
WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.
FALL HAZARD: Children have suffered severe head injuries, including skull fractures, from falling from high chairs. Falls can happen suddenly if the child is not restrained properly.
- ALWAYS use restraints and adjust to fit snugly.
- The tray is NOT designed to hold the child in the chair.
- Stay NEAR and watch the child during use.
- NEVER allow the child to push away from the table.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Do not place the High Chair where there are cords, such as window blind cords, drapes, or phone cords.
WARNING: The child must be secured at all times by the 5-point restraining system, whether reclining, semi-reclining, or upright. The tray is not designed to hold the child. Use only for children capable of sitting upright unassisted and at least 6 months of age. See page 12 for restraint system instructions.
- Other accessories may affect balance and cause hazardous conditions; use only approved Baby Trend toys.
- Ensure the high chair is fully erect and latched open before allowing a child near it.
- Maximum child weight: 40 pounds (18.14 kg).
- NEVER use the high chair as a toy.
- NEVER use if fasteners are loose/missing, joints are loose, parts are broken, or mesh/fabric is torn. Check regularly. Contact Baby Trend Customer Service for parts/repair. NEVER substitute parts.

Operation and Assembly
IMPORTANT: To ensure safe operation, follow instructions carefully. Keep for future reference.
Before assembly and each use: Inspect for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if parts are missing or broken.
Assembly: Adult assembly is required.
Usage Check: Always check that the high chair is locked in the open position before using.
Assembly Steps
- Attaching Legs: Take either the left or right leg. Press and hold the button, extend the leg, then release the button (See Fig. 1a). Insert the front tube of the right side Upper Frame Assembly into the Height Bracket (See Fig. 1b). The front tube has holes on the back. Repeat for the left side.
- Securing Height: Squeeze the Release Handle and push the tube through the Height Bracket until it locks in the highest position (See Fig. 2). Repeat for the other side.
- Connecting Legs to Frame: Insert the front legs into the ends of the front tube of both the right and left Upper Frame Assemblies (See Fig. 3). Ensure push buttons align with holes and are engaged.
- Attaching Casters: Attach each caster to the high chair feet by inserting firmly until they snap into position (See Fig. 4). Ensure all four casters are securely fastened.
Attaching and Operating Tray
- Attach Tray: Align tray grooves with armrests. Squeeze the tray's release handle and slide the tray onto the armrests (See Fig. 5a). The tray has a 3-position adjustment. To adjust, squeeze the release handle underneath and reposition. Release handle to lock. Ensure tray is securely locked.
- Tray Position Warning: Never leave the tray fitted where warning signs are visible (See Fig. 5b).
- Insert Tray: The dishwasher-safe food tray insert clicks onto the high chair tray via tabs. Ensure it clicks into place. To remove, pull tabs (See Fig. 6a). The tray can be stored on the back legs by aligning holes with pegs (See Fig. 6b).
Using Safety Belt
- Harness Attachment: Shoulder straps have 2 positions on the seat back. Select the position that places the strap level with or below the child's shoulder (See Fig. 7a).
- Securing Child: Place child in seat. Bring harness around waist and over shoulders. Place crotch strap between legs. Insert male ends of shoulder/waist belts into the crotch strap buckle. Tighten harness snugly around waist and over shoulders (See Fig. 7b).
- Releasing Child: Apply pressure to both sides of each male clip until released (See Fig. 8). This requires effort to prevent accidental release by the child.
Reclining Seat
- Adjust Recline: Squeeze the recline lever on the back of the seat and adjust to the desired recline or upright position (See Fig. 9). Be careful not to pinch child's arms, hands, or legs.
Adjusting Seat Height
WARNING: Do not adjust seat height with child in seat. Adjust before placing child.
WARNING: Always check that the height adjustment bracket is level and both sides are locked before placing child in the high chair.
WARNING: Never rest the height adjustment bracket on the locking pins.
- Adjust Height: Squeeze both left and right levers of the Height Adjustment Bracket and adjust to the ideal position (See Fig. 10).
Brakes
- Engage/Release Brakes: Apply downward pressure to brake tabs to engage. Check chair does not move. Lift brake tabs to release (See Fig. 11).
Folding High Chair
- Prepare for Folding: Place seat in desired height position. Place seat back in the most upright position (See Fig. 12).
- Remove Tray: Squeeze the tray release handle and slide the tray out (See Fig. 13).
- Store Tray: Hang the tray on the hooks located on the back of the rear leg (See Fig. 14).
- Fold Chair: Lower the seat to its lowest position. Push release buttons on the sides of the frame and push the rear legs towards the front legs until folded (See Fig. 15). DO NOT allow children to play around a folded chair.
Unfolding High Chair
Reverse the folding steps.
Adjusting Footrest
- Adjust Footrest: Press buttons on both sides of the footrest to adjust up or down (See Fig. 16).
Reattaching Seat Pad
- Thread Harness: Thread non-buckle ends of harness straps (Harness Attachment Tabs) through provided slots in seat fabric, insert, back, and base (See Fig. 17a, 17b). Rotate tabs 90 degrees to secure. Ensure straps are firmly in place.
- Attach Seat Cover: Slide seat cover pocket over the curved back frame (See Fig. 18a). Secure seat sides by wrapping around the frame and fastening plastic clips (See Fig. 18b).
Removing Seat Pad
Reverse the attachment steps.
Optional Seat Insert
- Install Insert: Set Seat Insert onto Seat Pad. Refer to step 17.
Care and Maintenance
WARNING: Harness Straps and Basket are NOT washable.
- Dishwasher Safe Tray Insert: Safe up to 160°F (71°C). Do not use scouring pads.
- High Chair/Tray: Clean after each use with mild dish soap. Use a soft brush, sponge, or cloth. Do not submerge in water. Surface clean only.
- Seat Pad: Refer to care label on the seat pad.
- To remove: Remove harness straps by pushing attachment tabs through slots. Remove elastic loops.
- To attach: Follow step 17 for re-threading harness.
- Hand Washable Seat Pad: Wash with cold water. DO NOT MACHINE WASH, BLEACH, TUMBLE DRY, IRON, or DRY CLEAN.
- Basket: Some models have a storage basket.
- To remove: Release four snaps.
- To attach: Feed snap strips through basket slots underneath seat base and press snaps firmly.
