The following components are part of the Deerma humidifier:

Principle of Operation

The Deerma humidifier utilizes ultrasonic technology. It generates 1.7 million high-frequency oscillations per second, atomizing water into microscopic particles (1-5 microns). These fine particles are then dispersed into the air by a pneumatic device, achieving uniform air humidification. This helps maintain ideal indoor humidity levels and prevent static electricity.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and longevity of the humidifier.

  1. To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the water trough and water tank.
  2. Frequently clean the ultrasonic transducer and filter to prevent hard-to-remove scale buildup.
  3. Before cleaning, always unplug the device. When unplugging, hold the plug firmly, not the power cord. ?
  4. Do not use chemical solvents, gasoline, or polishing powder for cleaning. Clean the device with clean water.
  5. Clean components with a soft cloth. For stubborn scale in the water trough, use a cleaning agent recommended or authorized by Deerma. Dissolve citric acid in hot water (10ml citric acid per 1g water), apply to the scaled area, let it sit for 5 minutes, then gently clean with a brush until the scale is removed.
  6. Remove the filter from the water tank cover. Soak it in white vinegar for 15 minutes, shake it, and then rinse with clean water. The filter's function will be restored.
  7. Regularly empty and rinse the water in the water trough and tank to keep the humidifier clean.
  8. If the device will not be used for an extended period, clean all components, dry them, and store them in the original packaging or a dry place.
