The Deerma humidifier utilizes ultrasonic waves that generate 1.7 million high-frequency vibrations per second. This breaks down water into atoms sized 1-5 microns. These atoms are then atomized by a pneumatic machine, humidifying the air and ionizing it with static electricity.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- The water tank needs regular cleaning to maintain high appliance performance.
- Clean the sensor and filter regularly to prevent scale buildup.
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning. Do not pull the cable directly when unplugging.
- Do not use corrosive substances, alcohol, gasoline, etc., to clean the appliance.
- Do not clean the appliance with chemical agents. If residues persist, use homemade cleaning agents or those recommended by Deerma. Mix citric acid with water at 60°C. Let the mixture sit in the appliance for 5 minutes, then clean the deposits with a brush.
- Empty the tank regularly to keep the appliance clean.
- If the appliance will not be used for an extended period, clean all parts, place it back in its packaging, and store it in a dry place.
Operation
- Remove the container from the appliance.
- Turn the valve to remove it and place it in a vertical position. Connect the water supply to the tap, fill the tank, and then turn the tank valve back on.
- If you cannot fill the tank in a vertical position (e.g., no space in the sink), unscrew the tank valve, remove it, place the tank horizontally, and pour water into the side inlet. Close the valve again after filling the tank.
- Place the filled container back into the appliance. Connect the device to power and press the "Power" button. Use the "Mist" button to adjust the humidification level.
Functions
Upon powering on, the device will beep and be ready for use. The power indicator light (represented by a circle symbol ◯) will illuminate.
- POWER Button: Press to turn on the appliance (audible signal). The appliance will humidify at maximum output (4 indicator lights will illuminate), and the current humidity level will be displayed on the panel. Press again to turn it off. The standby indicator light will remain illuminated.
- TIME Button: The timer function is deactivated when the appliance is turned on. Pressing the button activates it. Pressing the button again sets the time (refer to the image). After selecting the time, the LED in the corresponding area will flash for 3 seconds, and the time will be set. The appliance will then enter standby mode. To cancel the timer setting, press the "Time" button until "00" is displayed. After 3 seconds of flashing, the signal will turn off, and the time setting will be canceled.
Note: If the automatic humidity control function is activated, the intensity will automatically adjust to the highest level until the desired humidity is reached. Once the desired level is reached, the appliance will switch to standby mode and turn on again when the humidity decreases.
Dry-Run Protection: If the water in the tank runs out, the appliance will emit an audible signal, and a red warning will be displayed on the panel. Once the tank is refilled with water, the warning will disappear, and the appliance will return to normal operation.
