Operating Principle

The Deerma humidifier utilizes ultrasonic wave technology (1.7 million times per second) to transform water into 1 to 5 microns of ultrafine particles. An air-driven device then disperses this mist into the air, uniformly humidifying the room and preventing static electricity.

Tips

About water accumulation in the base: The water tank is for mist generation; water will naturally accumulate in the base during operation.

About mist volume adjustment: The mist volume is adjustable. If the room becomes too humid, reduce the mist output.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Regularly clean the water tank for optimal performance.
  2. Wash the filter and transducer frequently to prevent dirt buildup. Stubborn dirt may be difficult to remove; avoid scrubbing as it can cause damage.
  3. Always turn off and unplug the humidifier before cleaning. Hold the plug firmly when unplugging.
  4. Do not use chemical solvents, gasoline, polishing powder, or detergents. Clean with clean water only.
  5. Clean parts with a soft cloth. For stubborn scale in the water tank, dissolve citric acid in 60°C hot water (1g citric acid to 10mL water), soak the scaled area for 5 minutes, then gently brush.
  6. Soak the stopper in vinegar for 15 minutes, rinse, and it will be like new.
  7. Change water frequently and keep the humidifier clean.
  8. If not used for an extended period, clean all parts, dry them, and store in the original packaging or a dry place.

Operation Instructions

  1. Open the package and take out the appliance.
  2. Open the cap and fill the water tank. Note: Ensure the water level does not exceed the highest water level mark. Do not pour water into the mist tube.
  3. Cover the cap and plug the power cord into the socket. After hearing a "beep", turn the knob clockwise to start the humidifier.
  4. For aromatherapy, open the aromatherapy box, add plant aroma to the essential oil cotton for a pleasant fragrance. (Note: Plant essential oil is not included and may need to be purchased separately).

Function Description

Power / Mist Volume Control:

  • After plugging in the power cord, the appliance beeps and enters standby state.
  • Turn the knob clockwise to enter low-gear operation. Continue turning clockwise to gradually increase the mist to the maximum. Turn counterclockwise to gradually decrease the mist to the minimum. The machine returns to standby mode when the minimum is reached, indicated by a "beep".
  • Water shortage protection: When the water tank is low, the machine beeps three times and enters standby. Add water to the tank and restart the machine for normal operation.
