Water Hardness Settings Overview
This section provides an overview of the adjustable water hardness levels.

Adjusting the Water Softener
- Press [button].
- To open basic settings, press [Setup button] for 3 seconds. The display shows Hxx. The display shows set.
- Press [Start button] until the correct water hardness level is set.
- To save settings, press [Setup button] for 3 seconds.
Adding Special Salt
To prevent appliance damage, only add special salt to the designated reservoir just before starting a program.
- Unscrew and remove the cap of the special salt reservoir.
- For first-time use: completely fill the reservoir with water.
- Pour special salt into the reservoir. The water in the reservoir will overflow and drain. Never add detergent.
- Replace and close the reservoir cap.

Adding Rinse Aid
- Press the catch on the rinse aid reservoir lid and lift it [arrow pointing up symbol].
- Add rinse aid up to the [max marking].
- Close the rinse aid reservoir lid. The lid locks with an audible click.

Programs Overview
Program data are laboratory values according to European standard EN 60436. Consumption values are indicative (except Eco) and depend on the selected program and additional function. The running time changes if the rinse aid system is deactivated or if there is no rinse aid.

Adding Detergent
- Pour detergent into the dry detergent compartment.
- Close the detergent compartment lid. The lid locks with an audible click.

Operating the Dishwasher
- Load the dishes. Only wash dishwasher-safe items. Remove coarse food residue from dishes. Ensure the spray arms can rotate freely.
- Add detergent.
- Switch on the appliance [power symbol].
- Set the program.
- Start the program [play symbol].
- At the end of the program, unload the dishes.
- To interrupt the program, press and hold the [Reset button] for approx. 4 seconds. The program will be interrupted and will end after approx. 1 minute.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the Filters
- After each wash, check the filters for residues.
- Rotate the coarse filter anti-clockwise and remove the filter system [filter-removal symbol].
- Remove the microfilter by pulling it downwards.
- Press the retaining tabs and pull the coarse filter upwards [arrow pointing up symbol].
- Wash the filter elements under running water.
- Reassemble the filter system.
- Insert the filter system into the appliance and rotate the coarse filter clockwise. Ensure the arrows align.

Cleaning the Spray Arms
- Unscrew the upper spray arm and detach it by pulling downwards [arrow pointing down symbol].
- Pull the lower spray arm upwards.
- Check the spray nozzles under running water for blockages and remove any foreign objects.
- Insert the lower spray arm. The spray arm locks with an audible click.
- Insert the upper spray arm and screw it on tightly.

Cleaning the Drain Pump
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Remove the filter system.
- Drain any remaining water.
- Using a spoon, lift the pump cover by gripping the rib.
- Lift the pump cover diagonally inwards and remove it.
- Remove food residue and foreign objects from the impeller area.
- Insert the pump cover and press it down [arrow pointing down symbol]. The pump cover locks with an audible click.
- Reassemble the filter system.

Troubleshooting

E:32-00 lights up alternately or water supply indicator is lit. | Inlet hose is kinked. [Check mark] Lay the inlet hose without kinks. Water tap is closed. [Check mark] Open the water tap.
