Water Hardness Settings
Here you will find an overview of adjustable water hardness values. You can find a table with units for individual countries in the operating instructions.

Adjusting Water Softener:
- Press the [button].
- To open the basic settings, press and hold the [setup button] for 3 seconds.
- The display shows Hxx.
- The display shows [setting value].
- Press the [start button] repeatedly until the desired water hardness level is set.
- To save the settings, press and hold the [setup button] for 3 seconds.
Filling Salt for Dishwashers
To prevent damage to the appliance, only fill the dishwasher salt compartment with dishwasher salt immediately before starting the program.
- Unscrew the cap of the salt compartment and remove it.
- For the first use: completely fill the compartment with water.
- Fill the salt compartment with dishwasher salt. The water will be displaced and drain out. Do not add detergent.
- Screw the cap back on.

Filling Rinse Aid
1. Press the lever on the rinse aid compartment lid and lift it [lift lever symbol].
2. Fill the rinse aid up to the "max" mark [max fill line].
3. Close the rinse aid compartment lid. The lid clicks shut [click sound indicator].

Programs
Program data are laboratory measurement values according to European standard EN 60436. Consumption values are indicative values (except Eco) and depend on the selected program and additional function. If rinse aid dispensing is switched off or the rinse aid quantity is too low, the program duration may change.

The program suitable for overnight operation: extended duration, therefore very quiet.
Procedure
- Load the dishes. Only wash dishes that are suitable for machine washing. Remove coarse food residue from the dishes. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely.
- Fill with detergent.
- Switch on the appliance [power button].
- Set the program.
- Start the program [start button].
- After the program has finished, remove the dishes from the appliance.
- To interrupt the program, press and hold the [reset button] for approx. 4 seconds. The program will be interrupted and will finish after approximately 1 minute.
Cleaning Filters
1. After each wash, check if there are any dirt residues in the filters.
2. Rotate the coarse filter counterclockwise and remove the filter system [filter system removal diagram].
3. Pull the microfilter out downwards.
4. Press the locking clips together and remove the coarse filter upwards [coarse filter removal diagram].
5. Wash the filter elements under running water. [water tap symbol]
6. Reassemble the filter system.
7. Insert the filter system into the appliance and rotate the coarse filter clockwise. Ensure the arrows point towards each other.

Cleaning Spray Arms
For cleaning the upper spray arm, refer to the operating instructions.
1. Unscrew the upper spray arm and pull it downwards [unscrew upper spray arm diagram].
2. Remove the lower spray arm upwards.
3. Check the spray nozzles for blockages under running water and remove any foreign objects.
4. Insert the lower spray arm. The spray arm clicks into place [click sound indicator].
5. Insert the upper spray arm and screw it on tightly.

Cleaning Drain Pump
1. Disconnect the appliance from the electrical mains [power plug symbol].
2. Remove the filter system.
3. Remove any water.
4. Open the pump cover using a tool (e.g., a spoon) and grip it by the cross-piece [tool symbol, spoon symbol].
5. Lift the pump cover diagonally inwards and remove it.
6. Remove food residue and foreign objects from the impeller area.
7. Reinstall the pump cover and press it down. The cover clicks into place [click sound indicator].
8. Reinstall the filter system.

Troubleshooting
