Important Information
Battery
The battery installed at the factory is discharged during shipping and storage. When you first notice signs of insufficient power (dim display), the battery must be replaced by an authorized CASIO service center or a CASIO dealer.
Water Resistance
For all categories of watches, do not:
- Press buttons underwater.
- Set hands underwater.
- Unscrew the crown underwater.
If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it with a soft cloth. Do not wear a watch with a leather strap while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of a leather strap with water.
Watches are classified by water resistance level (from I to V) according to their degree of water protection. Check your watch's level using the table below to determine its correct usage.
Level | Case Marking | Splashes, Rain, Washing | Swimming, Washing Car, etc. | Diving, Snorkeling | Scuba Diving |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
I | Yes | No | No | No | |
II | WATER RESISTANT | Yes | No | No | No |
III | 50 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | No | No |
IV | 100 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
V | 200 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
V | 300 M WATER RESISTANT | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Notes:
- Level I watches are not water resistant. Avoid all moisture.
- II WR (Water Resistant) means the model is waterproof according to ISO 2281. Short-term contact with water will not cause problems.
- III With 5 Bar (50 meters) water resistance, the watch can withstand water pressure of the indicated value and can therefore be used during showering and short-term swimming.
- IV Water resistance of 10 Bar (100 meters) means the watch can be used during normal swimming and snorkeling.
- V Water resistance of 20 Bar (200 meters) means the watch can be used for scuba diving (except for depths requiring a helium-oxygen mixture).
Care Instructions
Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
Replacement of the rubber gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be done every 2-3 years. If moisture gets inside the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest dealer or CASIO distributor.
Some watch bands may have silk-screened images. Be careful when cleaning these bands to avoid damaging the designs. For plastic bands, a white powdery substance may appear; this is harmless and can be wiped away. Moisture or sweat can damage plastic bands over time. Keep plastic bands clean and dry. For fluorescent cases and bands, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture can cause the fluorescent color to fade.
Disclaimer: CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of this watch and accepts no claims from third parties.

Then, a beep will sound every second for the last 10 seconds. If the start time is 6 minutes or more, a beep will sound every second for the last 10 seconds down to the 5-minute mark.
