Notes:

  • Level I: These watches are not waterproof; avoid exposure to any moisture.
  • Level III: Do not press buttons underwater.
  • Level IV: Buttons can be pressed underwater, but do not press recessed buttons. If seawater gets on the watch, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and wipe dry.
  • Level V: Suitable for diving (except for depths requiring a helium-oxygen gas mixture).
  • Some waterproof watches come with leather straps. Do not wear these models while swimming or in any other situation where the strap may be immersed in water.

Precautions for Use

  • Do not attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
  • The water and dust-proof packing should be replaced every 2-3 years.
  • If water or condensation enters the watch, take it to your CASIO dealer or distributor immediately.
  • Do not expose the watch to excessively high temperatures.
  • Although the watch has a shock-resistant mechanism, avoid strong impacts or dropping it on hard surfaces.
  • Do not overtighten the strap. A finger should fit comfortably under the strap.
  • For cleaning the watch and strap, use a soft cloth, dry or dampened with a mild soap solution. Do not use volatile chemical solvents (like gasoline, thinners, cleaning sprays, etc.).
  • Always store the watch in a dry place when not in use.
  • Do not expose the watch to aggressive chemicals such as gasoline, cleaning agents, or aerosols. Chemical reactions with these agents can damage the gasket, case, and finish.
  • Some watch straps have their specifications printed on them. Clean these straps carefully to avoid erasing the printing.
  • For watches with plastic straps: A white powdery substance may appear on the strap. This is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be wiped off with a cloth. If moisture is left on a plastic strap, or if such watches are kept in a humid environment, the strap may warp, crack, or tear. To preserve the plastic strap, wipe off dirt or moisture promptly with a soft cloth.
  • For watches with fluorescent bands and cases: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fluorescence color to fade. Prolonged contact with moisture can also cause the fluorescence color to fade. Wipe off moisture promptly. Prolonged contact of a wet watch with any other surface may cause the fluorescent color to transfer. Be careful to keep the fluorescent surface dry and avoid contact with other surfaces. Strong friction of a surface with printed fluorescent patterns against another surface may cause the fluorescent ink to transfer to that surface.

CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may occur from the use of this watch and does not accept claims from third parties.
