The battery installed at the factory may discharge during shipping and storage. If you notice signs of insufficient power (dim display), replace the battery at an authorized CASIO service center or dealer.

Watches are classified by rating (from I to V) according to their degree of water resistance. Check the table below to determine correct usage.

Notes:
- Water Resistance Ratings Explained:
- I: Not water-resistant. Avoid all contact with water.
- II WR (Water Resistant): Water-resistant according to ISO 2281. Brief contact with water will not cause problems.
- III 5 Bar (50 meters): Capable of withstanding water pressure up to the indicated value; suitable for showering and brief swimming.
- IV 10 Bar (100 meters): Suitable for regular swimming and snorkeling.
- V 20 Bar (200 meters): Suitable for scuba diving (excluding depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
- If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry it.
- Do not wear a watch with a leather strap while swimming. Avoid prolonged contact of leather straps with water.
Care for Your Watch
Plastic Bands: A white powdery substance may appear on the band. This is harmless and can be removed by wiping with a soft cloth. Sweat or moisture on plastic bands, or storage in high humidity, can damage or crack the band. Wipe the band clean of dirt and moisture with a soft cloth to ensure a long service life.
Fluorescent Cases and Bands: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fluorescent colors to fade gradually. Prolonged contact with moisture can also cause fluorescent colors to fade. Wipe off any moisture as soon as possible. Prolonged contact with other wet surfaces can cause discoloration. Ensure fluorescent surfaces are dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
General Care: Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover yourself. The rubber gasket protecting the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years. If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by a dealer or CASIO distributor.
Condensation: Slight condensation may form on the inside of the glass during rapid temperature changes. This is a natural phenomenon due to the laws of physics and is not a defect.
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may arise from the use of this watch and does not accept any claims from third parties.
