Connection
- 1. Remove the pull tab from the charging case. Close the earbud case lid.
- 2. The case light indicates charging. Remove the earbuds from the case.
- 3. When one earbud flashes blue/white, it indicates readiness for pairing.
- 4. Select "JLab JBuds Mini" in your device's Bluetooth settings to connect. Following the "Bluetooth connected" voice prompt, the light will turn off, indicating a successful connection.
Controls
Left Earbud
- Volume Down: 1 press
- Voice Assistant: 2 presses
- Music/Movie Mode: Long press
- EQ Change: 3 presses
Right Earbud
- Volume Up: 1 press
- Play/Pause: 2 presses
- Track Forward: Long press
- Note: 3 presses
Call Controls (Common)
- Answer Call: 1 press
- Hang Up: 2 presses
- Reject Incoming Call: 1 second long press
Charging
Charging Earbuds
When earbuds are in the case:
- Blue light: Case charge 100-30%
- Red light flashing 4 times: Case charge less than 30%. Charge the case.
Charging Case
Connect JBuds Mini to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or less) output device.
- Charging: Blue light flashing
- Fully Charged: Blue light solid
Earbuds automatically power on and connect when removed from the case.
Sound for Every Moment: EQ Modes
Customize your audio experience with different Equalizer modes:
- JLab Signature: JLab C3™ Signature Sound. Emphasizes vocals and bass. Best for most music options: Pop, Rock, Country, Electronic, etc.
- Bass Boost: Emphasizes bass and sub-bass. Best for: Training, Sports, Fitness, Hip-Hop, Rap, Electronics.
- Balance: Flat sound, no added acoustic effects. Best for: Podcasts, Audiobooks, Classical music.
- Custom: Personalize EQ functions via the JLab App.
Optimal Fit & Helpful Hints
Try various ear tips for optimal fit and proper seal to significantly improve sound quality.
Microphone
Do not block the microphone with your ear. Call audio may become inaudible.
Helpful Hints
- Both left and right earbuds can be used individually for music and calls. To connect, simply remove one from the case.
- Fully dry the earbuds before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage to the case.

Troubleshooting: Manual Reset
For connection issues or if earbuds are not connecting to each other:
- 1. Place earbuds in the charging case and remove "JLab JBuds Mini" from your device's Bluetooth settings.
- 2. Quick tap one earbud in the charging case 7 times. The earbud will flash blue 4 times.
- 3. Quick tap the other earbud in the charging case 7 times. The earbud will flash blue 4 times.
- 4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. One earbud will be solid white, and the other will flash blue/white, indicating readiness for pairing with your device.
