Bluetooth Pairing
Step 1: Remove the protective stickers and place the earbuds in the charging case to ensure they are properly seated.

Step 4: On your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JLab Epic Lab Edition" to connect. You will hear a voice prompt: "Bluetooth connected." The lights will then turn off, indicating a successful connection.

Pairing with Adapter (Bluetooth)
Step 1: Connect the USB-C adapter to your PC/Mac/Android device. The adapter should connect directly, without any hubs or splitters for optimal performance.

Step 2: The earbuds will automatically connect to the USB-C adapter and prioritize this connection over previous Bluetooth pairings. Removing the adapter will revert to the previous Bluetooth connection.

Configuring the Adapter with PC (WINDOWS 7/8/10/11)
- In the settings menu, click System.
- From the System menu, click Sound.
- Under the Output section, select "JLab Epic Lab Edition Adapter".
- Under the Input section, select "JLab Epic Lab Edition Adapter".
Configuring the Adapter with MAC (macOS 10.10 or higher)
- Open System Preferences and select the Sound icon.
- Select the Input tab and choose "JLab Epic Lab Edition Adapter".
- Select the Output tab and choose "JLab Epic Lab Edition Adapter".
- From this screen, adjust the Output Volume to your desired level.
Button Controls
Controls are based on Bluetooth connection. Depending on your device and operating system, controls may vary with USB-C adapter connection.
Left Earbud
- Volume Down: 1 tap
- Voice Assistant: 2 taps
- Noise Control: Long press
- EQ Change: 3 taps
Right Earbud
- Volume Up: 1 tap
- Play/Pause: 2 taps
- Next Track: Long press
- EQ Change: 3 taps
Call Controls
- Answer Call: 1 tap
- End Call: 2 taps
- Reject Call: Long press
Multi-point Connection
Step 1: After connecting to the first device, turn off Bluetooth in that device's settings. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

Step 2: Go to the second device's Bluetooth settings and connect to "Epic Lab Edition".

Step 3: Go back to the first device's Bluetooth settings. Turn Bluetooth back on and connect to "Epic Lab Edition".

Charging
Charging Case
Connect the JLab Epic Lab Edition to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or lower) output device using the included USB-C cable.

Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad.

Flashing white light = Charging. Solid white light = Fully Charged.
Charging Earbuds
When placed in the charging case, the blue light indicates the earbuds are charging. The lights will turn off when fully charged.

The earbuds will automatically power on when removed from the case and connect when removed.
EQ Modes
Experience the best sound anytime with customizable EQ modes.
- JLab Signature: JLab C3™™ technology provides amplified bass and clear vocals without needing extra enhancement. Ideal for most music genres like Pop, Rock, Country, and Electronic.
- Balanced: Offers a balanced sound, perfect for podcasts, audiobooks, and classical music.
- Bass Boost: Amplifies bass and sub-bass frequencies. Ideal for workouts, sports, and genres like Hip Hop, Rap, and Electronic music.
- Custom: Personalize your EQ settings using the JLab app.

Download the App
Customize your Epic Lab Edition features and update your software by downloading the JLab app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Troubleshooting: Bluetooth or Earbud Connection Failure (Manual Reset)
- Place both earbuds in the charging case and select "Forget JLab Epic Lab Edition" from your Bluetooth device settings.
- Quickly tap the touch sensor on one earbud 7 times. The earbud will flash blue 4 times.
- Quickly tap the touch sensor on the other earbud 7 times. The earbud will flash blue 4 times.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. One earbud will be solid white, and the other will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.
